The accommodations were over the top, amazing, comfortable and clean. The service was attentive and pretty great! We reached out to the hotel prior to our arrival to book either kayaking, or boating in the gorge, and were so happy with what they suggested! The food at the hotel is delicious and the views can't be beat. We would've loved to have stayed extra days if our schedule permitted it. If you're in the area or trying to figure out where to say, do this, it's an incredible experience!

While we were gone, a maid opened the windows in our room and it rained, soaking all of the clothes we had near the window. When you want to enter/leave the pool area, its set up so you have to go through the shower. So if someone is showering, you basically have to wait while watching them for them to finish. The breakfast was pretty good, but all in all not worth it.

The camping-restaurant attached to the campsite and chateau, it has perhaps one of the best views…read moreof any restaurant in the world as the sun sets over the Lac de St. Croix. It's also surprisingly good for a campsite restaurant, so much so that in season you actually have to book. Of course, come September, it's totally empty. The best part is that you can drive home off-road after 2 litres of wine too!
