I moved up to Duluth MN and I had the BEST experience with Diane!!! It was one of the only places…read morethis was actually an able to rent in advance. It's so tough for us anxious girlies when a ton of places pop up for rent 2 weeks before you gotta be out of your place. I wanted to find a spot a month in advance because I cannot live with that anxiety of not knowing my next move. You have to put your 2 months notice in and then be stressed out for a while before signing another lease. She made the transition so easy and seamless. The unit is beautiful!!! Real hardwood floors, she made SURE it was spotless and actually takes care of the place and fixes thing in a timely manner. Super responsive and kind. She checks in and makes sure everything is good. She actually cares about you as a human if you're a genuine person. She wants you to take care of her place as if it's your own which is so fair and I wanted to follow her lease instructions because she was so great to me. Some landlords are jaded and rude but she takes in every new tenant without that bias and matches your energy. Got my FULL deposit back because I tried hard to clean and make it beautiful again. She painted before I moved in- something a lot of landlords do not do which sucks. But she wanted to make sure it was immaculate and I appreciate that because I love doing a good job too and take pride in my work ethic. I've heard that it's really hard to find a good spot in Duluth that is both clean and well maintained and with a good landlord. She is both 100%. Be real with her and she'll be real with you. She made the moving out process so easy- sent detailed directions not only on how to properly clean things but an itemized checklist of what to clean and the price is would be if you don't. Because that's the thing, if you don't clean it she will either do it herself or hire someone to do it for the next tenant. If I ever move back to Duluth then I will absolutely be renting with her again. She has multiple spaces for whatever you might need. I'd rather choose a good landlord over anything else and the location was perfect- 6 minutes from work close to everything. The lake, Chester, Enger Tower, Traverse trail. Felt so safe because or the location even though I was essentially downtown/central hillside. If you're looking for a spot to rent in Duluth I would absolutely recommend checking her spots out if you want a good experience and you can follow simple rules. She is a gem of a human and I'm so happy that I chose that spot with her. It was the first place I toured and I could tell she had great energy. Guard up at first of course because you gotta protect yourself but is a really sweet woman.

I moved to Duluth to be a news anchor on ABC-TV (WDIO). So helpful and caring of her tenants, and this made me feel comfortable in a new town. Treat her and her property with respect, and receive the same respect! Loved her and my experience with her, great!

Hello my names Quincey, yes this is going to be a lot but it's well worth the read…read more I moved into Bluestone Lofts August 15th 2020 age 19 attending my first year of college thinking it would be this awesome luxurious place to live as described on their website but it was quite the opposite, Bluestone is a Piece of work to say the least. My move in day was full of unanswered questions and confusion as the Leasing specialist at the time was very misinforming. I was not given very much time to review my lease as I was rushed into signing it because "the important stuff" was read to me by the leasing guy. Paying $791 a month to live with 3 other people in a tiny 4bed 4bath apartment is not it. Now include power and gas which rounds your monthly payment up to $805 - $830. That was a big financial mistake, Not something you necessarily want to commit to while Attending college full time. The beginning of my issues started with the lack of parking, which keep in mind you pay almost $40 a month for a spot. Well where do you park when there's no parking where you pay to park? The street, No you get tickets if you park on the street. How about the side of the building where there's always parking but you're not allowed to park? Nope you get your vehicle towed with a buy back fee of $160 - $180 or a boot with a removal fee of $80 - $90. Oh and let's not forget they tow your car even if it didn't snow for "snow removal" and charge you $80 to move it 20 feet and 180 degrees and it comes with a free dent/scuff service. During the midterm of my lease my roommates and I figured out that we were supposed to have gotten a 1080p HD Smart TV as stated on the lease but we had an old faded Sony 720p flat crap screen TV. The apartment also came with new "NEW to US" NTU for short as the new furniture was falling apart like dead skin. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a new luxurious fashion statement or this place just doesn't care about it's renters. We put in a maintenance request which thankfully they did follow us on by coming in our apartment and seeing our oh so "new" couch was an old POS. They told us it would be two weeks and we'd have a new one. fast forward 4 months and no new furniture... time after time this place let my roommates and I down. To add on to the bs, the dishwasher leaked leaving a huge puddle of dishwater on the floor after every use, The washer leaked leaving our hallway wet after every use as well. We had the maintenance guy that's always on site come and look at both appliances to which he said they would fix them, we'll I bet you can guess what happened... they never came and fixed them. Even if your rent payment is on time get ready for a fun not at all frustrating game of PAY A LATE FEE!!! Nothing like family feud. The guy that collects renters payments doesn't come on time to collect checks and he doesn't update the website to tell you how much you owe. So yeah it becomes the renters fault therefore you get to pay for whomever's mistakes. Want privacy? Not here. They'll just unlock and walk right into your apartment, then walk right into your room wether your dressed or not. My roommate Tyler aka Peg leg aka The One Legged Wonder got walked in on by a female staff that just welcomed herself into our apartment and into his room while he only had Tommy boxers on which was a startling experience to say the least. This happened more than once so prepare yourself for random room checks! I could go on and on But I really hate to complain but come on... you men/women run a professional business. Professional is the last thing you are.

I stayed here for only three months while subleasing, and overall, the experience was extremely…read moredisappointing. The room I was given had a dirty dresser and a bed frame with some kind of yellow gunk on it--completely unacceptable. Bluestone staff also have a habit of calling at inconvenient times, like 8:45 PM on a Friday night (yes, Jared, I'm talking about you). It feels like they do this knowing you're less likely to answer, which is frustrating and inconsiderate. While the amenities are fine, they're not enough to make up for the poor living conditions and overall lack of care. I honestly believe they take advantage of college students. If you're a student considering this place, make sure to have a parent or trusted adult look over the lease and give their opinion before you commit. Save your money and look elsewhere!

I really loved how my packages were always safe and behind a locked door. I see many apartments that leave them out - not cool. I also had so much fun talking to the front desk ladies and managers. We always had a great convo and good laughs. One thing I will always miss is maintenance! Any time anything was wrong, even small as I do not know where a cord gets plugged into - they would fix within 24 hours no joke! Even better is that you can submit a fix request online. I never had to meet with anyone and could out "allowed to come in when I am not there". I would come home and it was fixed. They have SO MANY epic events and these events really are not basic. They make cool food with cool themes and try to get every one together. Many people complain about having to leave your apartment and still pay half months rent - of course that is not fun, but it is stated in the lease and brought up before you sign. It is a unique situation because they have mass loads of students coming in at once. This is a great place to get your base started and your group of friends! Flats is very upscale and modern and allows dogs! Wooooo

Bluestone management is ridiculous. They are money hungry, and take advantage of their residents…read more Among rocket high rent prices for even tiny spaces, there are hidden charges, and the "10 day early possession". This forces residents out of their apartments 10 days before their lease is up and requires them to pay the full rent. When asked why, they say "oh yeah, this happens in the twin cities all the time, we need that time to paint your apartment" This is b.s and is just another way to make more money. The also have no sense or respect for documents we as residents give them. I gave them a copy of a very important personal document they required the first month I moved in, and then 5 months later they claimed they never received it. And I know for a fact that I am not the only resident that this has happened to. I also moved in when the building was brand new and within a few months, they staff was fixing things, like flooring, front desks, and the even fire place. Even the quality of the things inside my apartment was awful. The first time I tried to use the shower, the whole head and pipe came right out of the wall. Poor construction could be seen in my apartment right away. Bluestone staff is all stuck up, and you can see through their fake smiles, while they silently judge you. And beware, even when you are out of their sight, there are cameras everywhere. If you are considering Bluestone as a place to live, please please please don't be fooled by the new building and coffee machine in the lobby, it's not worth it.
