Robertson Air Conditioning took on everything! They were not only able to get the new AC/heating system bought and installed and optimized for our house, but they also were able to find, schedule, and manage contractors to do the other projects not related to the AC. The unit is about 7 years old and was installed by Stephen as he is a family friend. My father was charged for a visit that lasted 15 minutes and told that everything is fine. At 4:50 this afternoon we noticed that the house was hot again. My dad checked the temp and it was in fact not cooling again. He placed a call again to Mr Carson and was told that he could pay an after hours fee o(in addition to the fee from earlier today) for him to return again today, or wait till Monday. Monday?! Really Mr Carson, you have no problem leaving a man who had a quintuple bypass 3 months ago w/ no ac when the temp is expected to be bt 105-107 through Sunday?! I'm extremely disappointed and feel that my father was disrespected and taken advantage of. My dad is too nice to demand service today w/ no extra fee and I respect my dad too much to push him to do so. It took five phone calls to finally get them to come out to change my filter. (I'm 88 years old & the filter is about ten feet up!). On two of the 5 calls I made they scheduled a definite appointment to come. They were a NO-SHOW both appointment times. I had previously signed a maintenance contract that covered two visits. The day I signed the contract used my first visit. When they finally came out after 5 calls and two no-shows the tech installed the filter within ten minutes and left. They did not honor my prepaid visit. They charged me $218.25 including the installed filter plus he left one for next time. That cost is outrageous by any standards! There will not be a next time with this company!!! I have more serious complaints but it takes so much space to type them!!
