My old dentist I used for decades but he's now retired so when I last needed dental care, I made the drive to Salina. Mark is skillful. He studied at the University of Virgina after leaving the University of Utah. He's practiced for over two decades and I trust him implicitly with my oral care. He's patient and confident. I was really very impressed and have had no problems with the tooth he crowned for me four years ago. Mark is an accomplished individual and an expert photographer. It''s evident he applies his artist abilities to his dentistry. My old dentist had practiced for over 40 years and he had nothing on Mark! Mark has a great office, new equipment, compassionate staff and reasonable prices. While I know nothing of the other dentists in Salina, knowing Mark seems like that's all I need.

On the day of my surgery, the staff made the greatest effort to make me feel comfortable. The CRNA, who administered my anesthesia, was beyond amazing. From the very start he made sure I understood everything and never, ever created any tension whatsoever. After starting my I.V., Dr. Egbert came in. His amazing demeanor and bedside manner continually helped me feel safe and worry free. After a boIus of Versed, Fentanyl and Propofol, I drifted off to sleep. The entire procedure felt like a minute or so and upon reemergence, Dr. Egbert and my CRNA was right next to me, asking and making sure I remained pain and worry free!! Dr. Egbert and his entire staff are the very best! If you are in need of any oral surgical work, look no further than Summit Oral Surgery! You will not be disappointed!!!

The reason…read moreI am giving them one star is because I called on two separate occasions, told the nurse AND the doctor I would like to keep my wisdom teeth after they were removed. Each of the four people I spoke to confirmed that this was possible and put it in their notes each time. When I finished my surgery, they couldn't find them and then said they ended up in the trash. They clearly lack attention to detail so if you are planning on getting your wisdom teeth removed and would like to keep them I would advise you do NOT come to this Utah Surgical Arts.

Once my 40's slammed me in the face, I had to begin having the real problem teeth removed and replaced. They've been molars thus far, which most dentists no longer deal with for removal. Dr. Crawford has been a fantastic referral from my trusted endodontist. He has removed two molars, a couple of years apart, and performed the surgery follow up care for my eventual implant replacements completed by my dentist. A molar removal is very invasive and complicated, with a decent amount of healing time necessary. Dr. Crawford is careful and thoughtful about his work, making sure any bone grafts and other processes are healed properly before taking next steps. (I know people who've been rushed through this process by their oral surgeons, and have lost implants because of it.) I've been extremely appreciative of his cautious care as it has certainly assisted me in making sure the implants stay where they're implanted and that the surrounding areas remain healthy. The surgeries I've been through with Dr. Crawford have been flawless. It's clear that everyone in his office, from the receptionists to the surgical assistants to Dr. Crawford himself, are there to help you. They're very communicative and respectful. Dr. Crawford has a very pleasant bedside manner, and does quality work. I also feel that his costs are in line with other oral surgeons, and he doesn't charge you for the small extra things that some offices wouldn't hesitate to add to your bill. I know I have more dental issues ahead of me, and although I'm very much not looking forward to any of them, I know Dr. Crawford and his team will take good care of me.
