Lied to me and when I called them out on the numerous stories and bullshit I was told that it's my fault as its alot of lies and it's all happened to you ....so kinda looks like it's you I'm told after dropping almost 2 grand at their shit hole of a store .yes I'm livid I called customer service ..joke .and this bitch tells me " too bad you dident have a time machine eh to go back in time to before you came here ..........um say what now then im told its my fault that my bed that was still under warranty mind you and then she said well it was under warranty but now that you bought a new bed you can5 get a free replacement sorry if you had only told us that your bed was still under warranty...wich I did numerous times but I had no idea it was covered up to ten years as nobody told me as I did very clearly explain all this so after being told I've lost the free ( potentially) replacement as if only I had filled out a warranty card which is actually policy but my lying lady never did that for me so I was told too bad so sad .and I lost my mind on them and she has the manager call he's useless ..so I call the head office but still nothings been done also best part .. The 200 night sleep gaureentee is a USED MATTRESS so if your not happy with your thousands and thousands purchase they will swap it out for a used mattress ..yup that's correct you'll get a used matress given as a replacement on a brand new bed you just dropped alot on ...yup its bullshit . read more

We are in need of a new washing machine asap. We shopped around, first went to the Brick.. second Best Buy St. Catharines and third Leon's Welland, ON Best buy offered us the same washing machine "listed price of 200.00 less than Leon's. Leon's told us they price match, and asked us to wait for a manager to review the price. We then waited for 10 minutes, were brought to the managers office only for the manager to suggest to us that "Best buy must be desperate for customers, or that the price we were told is inaccurate.. then we were told we are Best to go back to Best buy or the Brick.. how is this price matching guarantee? We left learning this store is not at all price Matching or equivalent in price to other stores locally.. our advice is to shop around. Customer service needs work at this store as well. read more

A bit over priced for my taste, if you go to THE BRICK you will literally pay less for the same stuff!! I grabbed some paintings that were on sale or Managers Special. All the female employees have a bit of an attitude and if you they think you are wasting their time or just browsing around they will not even approach you. The male sales staff however are more eager to make the sale, in my humble opinion. The showroom is HUGE, its clean and the parking is easy. read more

My recent experience with Leon's, Welland store was very stressful! Two weeks ago I purchased a tempur pedic mattress complete with headboard and side rails. I won't mention the price but it was very expensive. It was delivered today, my request, no phone call to tell me they were on their way and it arrived with No headboard! They just left it here in boxes and I specifically asked for set up. The delivery guys said they would call the manager and he would call me. He did, apologized of course and he would correct the situation. Well late this afternoon two fellows showed up with the headboard and put it all together, Mitchell and George were great and I called the manager to tell him, he was very pleased. The other problem was it was the wrong colour, the guys said I could call the manager and get the correct one but because of all the stress I said it was o.k., it will still fit in. My husband and I are both semi-handicapped and couldn't have put this together by ourselves and I told this to the sales person and he said no worries, well that was a big misunderstanding. I don't mean to rant but I just had to get it off my chest, so right now I am sitting in the new bed trying to figure out how it works and just hoping it does the trick for my aches and pains! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE- OR LEONS IN GENERAL. We purchased a $1350 ($1535.67 total) couch- (Lana 2 Piece Sectional) in December of 2014. They were very helpful during the sale and gave us all of the typical assurances, we thought that we were making a smart purchase on a quality item, and even bought what we thought was an extended warranty. THE FRONT OF THE FRAME OF OUR COUCH HAS BROKEN 3 TIMES in 3.5 YEARS. The front of the couch is held together by a thin piece of MDF type material, the whole things is actually only held together by a few pieces of wood- its garbage! They replaced half of the sectional during the first year when it happened the first time (apparently there is a measly 1 year warranty - who gets a new couch each year!?!?), but this year the couch started kicking out at the front corner because the frame was broken there- so we put a bracket in ourselves. Now, on the other piece of the sectional the front of the frame has completely detached from the side wall of the couch! They absolutely refuse to help in anyway and told us that they have "done everything they can" - doing everything you can would be replacing our CLEARLY DEFECTIVE COUCH! We do not have children, heavy pets etc- the couch has recieved no abuse to warrant this level of damage. It also looks terrible after just 3.5 years, the cushions have completely sagged, it's awful. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM LEONS AGAIN, AND I WILL ADVISE ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO DO THE SAME- ITS A SCAM AND NO BETTER THAN THE BRICK! Shop at Stoney Creek Furniture, Structube, or even Ikea for better quality! Or save your money and buy something for less at Rosehill, at least you will be less disappointed when it breaks and they wont help! read more
