I was really nervous after having a horrible first time septum piercing where the piercer pierced my septum crooked, hit the cartilage and then blamed my nose shape. I've wanted a cartilage for quite some time so I decided to get a second opinion and I'm really glad I did. Bruce was extremely knowledgeable and re-assuring. He took a look and told me I could probably get one but he would verify once he was able to check my nose. He was able to immediately determine the septum spot was higher up. My girlfriends and I decided we wanted to get cartilage piercings on a whim, and she had such incredible reviews, and trust me, she did not disappoint. She's between locations at the moment because her old location is under construction, but the place was clean. All needles were in sterile packaging, as were the piercings. She wore gloves and gave us a spray with saline and high-quality essential oils that help decrease inflammation and prevent infection. It was pretty painless, she was so quick with the needle I barely felt it. I got three piercings done. She had such a great vibe, it was a fun experience, and cool to do with friends. If we decide to get any more, we will definitely get it here.

The process was smooth and fast, he confirmed the spots before I get pierced. I chose Studs because they offer flat-back screw for their earrings and use piercing needles manually instead of a piercing device. So the healing is better comparing to using a piercing gun. This place is definitely on the pricey side, especially their jewelries. I personally wouldn't get my jewellery here, I'm just here for the piercing and got a titanium stud for now. I wouldn't say the customer service has ever been outstanding, but it's generally been good. During my previous visit, I spent around $700 adding two new piercings and switching out jewelry. The piercer who helped me was incredible. I wish I could remember her name because she truly had an artist's eye. She helped curate my ears beautifully, adding charms and small triangle studs that I absolutely loved. Near the end of that appointment, while we were still in the treatment room, she asked if she could step out to do a quick jewelry change for another customer. I found that unusual as we were already in service. I also had another appointment that I needed to get to so I felt my time didn't matter! Anyways I overlooked it because I had otherwise enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, my most recent visit completely changed my opinion. I came in to purchase a solid gold swallow bird piece, which was close to $500, and have it installed. I had seen it on Friday and returned Monday specifically to buy it. The piercer helping me, who mentioned she was new from Bakersfield, immediately came across as uninterested. When I asked about the bird jewelry, she didn't even attempt to look for it and simply said, "I don't know." The receptionist then stepped in, searched the display, and found the exact piece. It was the last one. Once we went into the piercing room, I mentioned that my current jewelry felt a little tight, but throughout the appointment her demeanor remained cold, short, and dismissive. She changed the jewelry, but when she couldn't find a bag for my previous piece, I ended up offering one from my purse. Nothing catastrophic happened, but customer service is about how you make people feel. When someone is spending hundreds of dollars on fine jewelry and trusting you with body piercings, warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness matter just as much as technical skill. Sadly, this experience left such a poor impression that I won't be returning.

So I booked an appt to have a very simple roman numeral tattoo done under my collarbone. The booking process was actually very easy and the shop worked with me. There's a $200 minimum and there's a $100 deposit that you Venmo before the appointment is made. I honestly found the booking process super smooth and easy. If you can find it, there's metered parking right in front of the shop which is super convenient. I honestly love the vibe of this place. Endry was so kind and welcoming and made my first tattoo the best experience it could've been (also want to note I have a needle phobia so this is a legit compliment). I have since seen Endry multiple times for more extensive work. Endry is truly an incredible artist who really puts care and consideration into each piece. You can tell he really cares about his craft and I have so much respect for that. Working with him has been a pleasure and I look forward to my next session with him. I actually recently got my forearm done with a beautiful fine line floral wrap and I am still in awe at the photorealistic detail in the flowers. I called before making an appointment since I'm coming from across LA. They told me they had the jewelry I wanted and would put it on hold for me. I wanted to do the TASH Hidden rook since a lot of LA piercers don't do them. They made me an appointment for that Sunday at 12pm. They also gave me a warning there's a farmers market so parking might be tough. It's all street parking btw. Walked in at about 11:50am and greeted by Oscar, who was super friendly. He was showing me a bunch of pieces since the one I put on hold did not work with my anatomy. After looking through several styles, I chose a yellow gold marquise threaded charm. It was about a 20 minute wait. We decided to get food at the farmers market. Around 12:30pm, I got taken upstairs to the waiting area and Harrison asked if I was ready. Nervous but ready, he went over the piercing I wanted. He said he thinks he could fit it inside my rook and we went ahead and did it. He was so calm, cool and collected the whole time. I really appreciate his patience with my ear anatomy and achieving the piercing I wanted. We spend around $380 for the pricing service and jewelry. I requested a quote from several vendors and Allen was the first to reply and was super prompt with my follow up questions. At the shop, you can expect a sterile environment, but the vibes are wayyyy cool. Allen was thorough with his explanations and quelled any nerves that I had. He was very knowledgeable and his years of experience was comforting. I ended up with a gold 2mm stud and it looks great. Did it hurt? A little, but I feel like I get hurt when I get up from a long nap, so what do I know. Definitely would recommend this shop and Allen. He's great vibes, funny, super clean and very professional. I came into the shop as a Hail Mary just to see if they carried something that would fit the studs I already owned. Not only was Allen able to help me and replace the flat backs on my existing jewelry, he also informed me that my naval piercing that fell out months ago wasn't closed. Instead of having to re-pierce Allen advised me all I needed to do was buy or bring in jewelry and he'd insert it for me. I love the honesty and how helpful Allen was! His advice saved me some coin and I'm so grateful this isn't a money grabbing establishment. This is my now my go-to spot!
