Let's face it, the average real estate agent regards regards their tenants like a Hollywood vampire regards sewer rats: low grade sustenance which is only to be pursued in desperate times. Or something like that. So when I go to visit the "scum", as I affectionately call them, I expect the most basic modicum of respect and attention from them.
Thus I was pleasantly surprised to find that Leo and his team were quite friendly to me when I dealt with them when applying to and ultimately acquiring a rental property through them. They were only listing the property and finding tenants for the owner, who we now deal directly with, but during our brief period of contact I was quite impressed (but hey, considering the pretty low standards set by other agents, I'm easily impressed). The lady who took us through the inspection was very chatty and accommodating and she let us know (my housemates and I) from the outset about our chances for securing the place, also giving some helpful hints about dealing with our current landlord.
I often see the Mr Tsimpikas himself strolling about West End during the daylight hours. It's good to know he's a local guy, and not some living dead blood sucker cloistered away in a hardwood coffin. read more
