We rated this company one star, because of the two times we used their service, it was a complete failure. Heres why:
Two months prior, we booked a bus ticket to travel from the Krakow International Airport to Vienna on July 15, 2017 for a 7:10am departure. On that morning, we arrived at the departure station by 6:30am just to be safe. By 7:10am, the bus has not arrived. We call this company at an airport phone only to understand that the bus is now delayed by 3 hours. We did not receive a text, nor phone, nor email notification that there were delays. We were asked to return by 10:10am the same morning, so we opted to wait nearby. By 9:35am, our bus actually arrives, and had we taken their advice to return at 10:10am, we would have actually missed that bus. This company fails to notify of cancellations and delays, and will give you inaccurate information.
Again, two months prior, we had booked a ticket to depart from the Prague Central Station at 11:13am on July 23, 2017 for Krakow International Airport. We followed exactly as the station's instruction screens instructed, to proceed to Platform 1B. And all the way there, there were arrows instructing us to proceed to Platform 1B. Here we are thinking these fool-proof instructions (we have time stamped pictures of them), and the fact that we arrived one hour prior to our departure, that nothing would go wrong. So these instructions and signage eventually lead us to the street level at the station. By 11:13am, again, the bus has not arrived. We proceed back downstairs to the Leo Express ticketing office to inquire on the status of our rides. The first girl informs us our bus has left. The second representative informs us our train has left. So is it a train or a bus? Already furious at their lack of communication and misinformation, the second male representative, by the name of Mirek (we have also have pictures of this representative), proceeds to tell us its our fault for missing the train, when clearly their information instructing us to proceed to Platform 1B was incorrect all the way. When we asked to be put on the next earliest ride at 4:20pm same day, he says we need to pay full price for another ticket. At this stage, my travelling partner raised his voice at him (anyone would at this stage), and the representative not only failed to relieve the situation, nor offer a solution, just spoke rudely at us, and just dismissed it as the traveller's fault and that we needed to pay full price for another ticket to compensate for their major mishaps.
Do yourself a favour, stay away from Leo Express.
We paid for another full price ticket to Krakow with another company, Ceske Drahy, who was more than happy to accommodate us, and was so much more helpful. read more
