Came here as it had been a while since we had been here. This is a good place for a quite family run Italian and pizza. The chicken wings were yummy as well as the chicken parm. My husband and I split the chicken parm but got it modified to be grilled and it was super tender. The portion was huge. We also had an amazing server Kelsi, who has only been with the restaurant a few weeks but it seems as though she has been here for way longer. While not terrible pizza, it's not great. Years and years ago, this was the spot if you wanted a good pie. I can't really say what I don't like about it, but there is nothing that stands out about it. It's just average. Average when at one point in time it was amazing. This isn't based off one visit. We ordered a large Pie well done, half meatball and half pepperoni, a side of sauteed spinach in garlic and oil and a small house salad for $4.50. The pizza was o.k. We are new to the area and are looking for top notch New York style brick oven pizza. This ain't it. But it was a good lunch and prices are reasonable. I got the cheese slices. My husband and I shared the garlic bread appetizer. I could only eat part of one of my slices after eating part of one of the pieces of bread. The bread was buttery and garlicky. I actually knocked some of the garlic off for my own self preservation--luckily my husband paid a bit for all the garlic later as he didn't do the same. It was delicious don't get me wrong. Just heavy on the garlic. The slice of cheese was thin not overly crispy. I personally like mine a little crispier and a little saucier, personally preference. And the cheese a little more well done. But it was good for the low price. I would eat it again. And add pepper. And maybe salt or Italian seasoning to it. My husband really liked his. And maybe this is where the restaurant shines --in pizza with more toppings. Some pizzas with plainer crust and cheese are just better with toppings. I'm just not a toppings persons. The Alfredo was thin and tasteless and left this god awful after taste in my mouth , I took such a huge bite seeing the fresh parsley imagining it was going to taste amazing and to be honest the sauce made me gag . I really hate giving a bad review but after thinking about it for a bit I decided that I should. We did business with Leo and Joe's for about 6 years until about two months ago. We've noticed the orders started slipping like missing items, and the wrong orders arriving and the delivering kept getting worse. Thy had great food and service and we loved them. The last time we ordered our delivery was supposed to be here in 45 minutes and normally it would be here earlier. Not this night, after an hour and a half I called and they said they were on the way so ok . W waited another hour so I called back and spoke to Henery and he lied to me and said the driver was confused and she just left with our order, so I asked him how long he said hold on then came back on the phone and said it's going to be about 45 more minutes and I said no it's now 9:30pm and I'm going to cancel the order. Henry put some lady on the phone and she offered garlic rolls to not cancel,I am livid and refused so she said she would send us a 5.dollar off cupon I told her to keep that as well as the food. At that point she was very nasty and hung up on me. We haven't and will not ever order from them again.
