I get reminders to be diligent about timely filing, I get communication on changes in tax laws, they disclose to me when my taxes are filed, if it was accepted by IRS, and I am provided a folder of the information/ services provided. No issue so far. And I don't feel "harassed" though I am sorry for those who've experienced that. I have never though. -Sean as an individual - Upon reading other reviews, I think that people should go to a business for business. Not friendship. I'm not trying to crack a drink with the man. I just want thorough and cordial service and so far he has provided that. He's direct. But so am I and I would be VERY clear in letting people know if I felt disrespected at any capacity. But I don't. I personally don't take offense to stoic personalities but I can understand how some folks are used to having everything dipped in sugar to make it palatable for them. - integrity - I haven't had an issue with shady filing. I have NO problem being forward about my issues but I haven't had any so far. I've been able to take advantage of my EV incentives. I'm a student so he made that count for something. Like there's a reason I've come here my entire adult life. I will say that the price can be just a tad steep depending on your circumstances, and as a nursing student I understand completely. But admittedly, Sean has been flexible with me. I have only ever needed leniency like twice (in the form of a payment plan as life had hit when I was to pay for the service) but he's allowed for it and we have been in good standing. Thats really all I gotta say. Thanks for your time.

This year we turned in our tax information the end of January, beginning of February. We did not hear a word about any issues or need to supply additional information or documents . I sent a message on April 1st if Rich had an idea of when the taxes would be completed. I was told "I will get them done as soon as I can". April 13th I sent another message asking if we had an extension as I believed we were in the category we had to file by April 15th. Response "you don't have to file until May 15th" Out of the blue, our tax forms arrive for signatures on April 15th via email with a letter saying the information I provided made it difficult for him to figure out our taxes stating "duplicate and triplicate items" were send to him and in addition he knew I wasn't happy with the outcome last year ( we had to pay over $10,000) so find another accountant for both us and our business. Since this occurred we found out another friend who owns a business had the exact same thing happen to them with this business. I'm a Registered Nurse, not a tax accountant by any means, and we did have a complicated tax year last year. If it had been easy I would have used Turbo Tax. I called two other tax firms and told them this scenario and they told us they would sit down in person and go over issue that would arise before terminating the relationship. Sounds reasonable and ethical

We had a great experience with David our first year - 2nd year had some hiccups in communication,…read morebut overall it was fine. However year 3 was a nightmare, that has solidified we will never be back and will not recommend his services. I went to his office where he went over all the paperwork I had. On my way out, I asked the receptionist to pay and she said I could when I picked up hard copies - which is weird, because the previous year I all but begged for hard copies. So I said ok, and left. I sent numerous e-mails and called to confirm that our return was filed - finally I got a "yes". Fast forward 4 months and I still have no refund. I call and e-mail several times again and finally get a "we were waiting on payment"...TO WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED AN INVOICE. I was told I would pay upon hardcopy pickup. So I paid right then, and had my refund about a week later - so we were waiting for 4 months for NOTHING. Getting a copy of my returns was another circus - I was fine with a PDF or a hardcopy, but wanted SOMETHING (don't most people want a copy of their tax return?). It again was a month long process of calls and e-mails that went unanswered and finally I received a PDF copy. Overall, the systems in place here SUCK. Nobody has any idea what's needed for the next step, and the communication is even worse. Additionally, their pricing isn't even a bargain. For a good service, I'm willing to pay, but not when I have to chase people for months to do their job. Go anywhere else, save yourself the time.
