Yep - I wish I'd checked Yelp too. All this does is invite a persistent deluge of marketing phone calls.

Is this a Real Lending Tree? And does a Frank Jefferson work there at the Charlotte location?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out. I can confirm we do not have a Frank Jefferson at LendingTree. This could be someone impersonating LendingTree in an attempt to scam you. Please don't provide any personal and/or banking information to them. You…

Complained to WFB, had a temporary credit given, I sent them the web page attached, I have never received any goods or communication from https://furvista.com. Supplied them with website, Advised not to use the site because it was a scam site, Sent this to WFB. Today I am told as a more than decade customer, the on-site sent the goods. I understand that every year WFB & BoA compete for the "Biggest Turd in The Sewer" WFB are certainly the biggest turd this year. Perhaps the "Claims assistance service is the Scam site." They are certainly not interested in their customer, I should have used Amex for the advert on iPhone. With Amex there is NO messing about.

Used to work for this bank (through mergers) - they keep switching checking account terms. After…read morebeing a customer for 30 years (when it was First Union), I've never paid for checking. Now they want $35 for 60 checks BUT if you change to a Prime Checking Account, checks are free but you'll pay $25 monthly charge if your account balance is below $20,000!! Really? They treat their employees poorly, with extremely low if any raises or bonuses, while the execs (mostly J.P. Morgan transplants) get HUGE raises and bonuses! The employees need to form a union, seriously. They've taken away pensions, reduced severance pay to nearly nothing, and displace folks at the drop of a hat. They do this to fund the legal fees and penalties from their criminal charges. I'm done with this bank!!

Skyla Credit Union - Had to pull over multiple times on my trip moving cross country due to overheating. Warranty sold by Credit Union covers NOTHING.

I've been with them since 2009 and it still feels like they operate like it's 2009 sometimes. A lot…read moreof things still take 8-10 days for them to mail you something when it should just be easily accessible online. Also when applying for lines of credit or lines for anything, they act just like any other financial institution. It's all based on a screened robo response based on that almighty three digit number called a credit score. It's not a human touch, which is rare now these days anyway.... so I guess they are up to date in that aspect unfortunately. However, that's not to say that it's all bad. Their customer service is okay and they have a lot of features online that are pretty neat. Every time I visit in person, they are super polite. So I'm pleased over all, though it isn't over the top amazing. 4 stars is a compliment. Their motto is "Like a bank. Only better". I often joke that it should be "Like a bank." period.

I tried giving this credit union a second chance, but once again, they've completely disappointed…read moreme. This is the second time I've dealt with the exact same issue regarding Zelle. The first time, I was assured everything was good to go, only to find out that was false. They will constantly blame you or blame Zelle instead of taking any accountability for their own broken system. I actively use Zelle through another bank with zero issues, so blaming this on a "Zelle IT issue" is just an excuse. The problem is on this credit union's end. To top it off, they made me wait 90 days just to access shared branching and Zelle--and after all that waiting, it still doesn't work. When you call customer care, they don't help at all; they just brush you off. Why waste your time banking somewhere that lacks basic functionality and refuses to own up to their mistakes? Save yourself the headache and take your money elsewhere.
