I later was told I can only be a patient if I do not cancel again. mind you we have been a patient for years w 0 issue. we paid the fee to be reinstate being a patients. we were all seen numerous times since w no issue. this past week I had to cancel again due to a medic issue. I spoke w receptionist explained and asked if this was ok due to what happened over the winter I was reassured no issue at all and she kindly resched. the following weekend received a certified fired from the practice again letter. I called this am to explain what had happened, the male receptionist could care less. hardly listened. I cancelled my entire families future appts. he said he'd get to it. medical emergencies are out of patients hands sometimes. as I was a patient there there were a few occasions they canceled appts due to weather or other circumstances which I understood and never once complained. this entire situation clarified my family and I were just a number in this place not patients they care for. we already found a new place who were kind and understanding. I explained what happened at this place and they said not to worry they would understand if medical issues came up. drumhill dental dentist would talk to me and my daughter about heir lives and their children while at appts, it's shocking this is how their staff treats patients.

Dr Abboud Mallouh took 45 minutes giving me a deep cleaning and I noticed that I could actually feel the spaces between my teeth now. I am really grateful I found someone so meticulous with his work. People with masshealth need to be careful with certain dentists because they will treat you like an assembly line unless you have premium dental insurance.

Most notably, EVERY visit they try to UPSELL for new crown, veneer's or anything to increase their payout. After refusing to proceed with a bridge to gap a rear molar extraction, this dentist proceeded to dig away at a 25 year old filling. After repeatedly refusing crown work she then advises me there is a slight crack in this old filling and it's bound to give me trouble later. THIS FILLING NEVER BOTHERD ME (+25 YEARS) AND WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE FOR MANY MORE YEARS. I guess I gave in to what I assumed was a dental concern but am now questioning her motives as it ALL SEEMS IT's BASED ON MONETARY GAIN and NOT the best interest of the patient. I advised her my dental coverage was to change before the next appointment and SHE ASSURRED ME NO WORK WOULD BE DONE WITHOUT INSURANCE VALIDATION BEFORE HAND. She assumed they covered ALL Tufts dental plans, but come to find out THEY DO NOT. So she proceeded with drilling out what I think was a perfectly good filling and replace it with new tech materials. That's when the fun began. Tufts refused payment of this filling because they're out of network. Now I am stuck with a $420 dental bill for a service I don't even think was needed. I called last week to discuss, and am still waiting (10 DAYS) for the office manager to FINALLY CALL ME BACK on this issue. I wonder if I should also bring up the poor quality of the veneer they tried to apply to my wifes front tooth TWICE before going elsewhere. so, from the dentists to the office admin 'PATIENTS BEWARE' of this unscrupulous, unprofessional, untrustworthy dental practice! .... you have been warned

They ended up calling me a week later unrelated to my appt. and when I mentioned it, they said they'd put me on the cancellation list. I got a call a month later that they had a cancellation that day, but I had let them know that I needed a Monday appt. and it was Tuesday. The lady had said "she thought it was Monday". Okay?? Fast forward to today, I give them a call to see a status on an appt. and the receptionist already sounded annoyed. She put me on hold to check and then answered the phone like it was a new call so I explained everything again. There was a long pause so I said hello and she snapped back saying in a snarky tone "I'm checking". Then said they had openings Tuesday and Thursday this week. I explained again that I can only do Mondays and she said that her first available is May. I did explain my frustrations and nothing helpful was said. I've been going to this place for over 20 years and will not be returning.
