The couple dining next to us also mentioned they had seen several rats running towards the kitchen area. The staff reacted so badly when confronted and tried to gaslight us to believe it was "normal for the area" and they could not give any more discount than 10% (66kr) as their manager was not present. I cannot believe I actually payed for the food without. We should have just left instantly! The most disgusting experience in a restaurant I have ever experienced. We could have gotten seriously sick or infected. I've worked in restaurants many years as a chef in Copenhagen and have never seen a single rat. The staff handled this so badly that I will never recommend this place to anyone ever. In Denmark we have a moral obligation to report any sighting of rats anywhere and this will also be done in this case, to Miljöförvaltningen Malmö.

Some people complain that even if you don't want to "take away" your lunch, you still have to deal with plastic tray and plastic utensil, which is a valid point, but for me, it was more important to have my lunch to go as I ate at my office.
