Those two facts alone tell you everything you need to know. Contact was made in the second week of April to schedule a new patient appointment for asthma-related issues. The earliest available date was May 26, over a month away. On May 16, before a single visit had taken place, charges were applied for both April and May. The patient was seen at urgent care in the meantime and still plans to establish regular care here given the location works after a recent move to Denison, TX. After this experience, that plan is now in serious question. The appointment was cancelled to resolve the billing issue. A refund was promised by May 18. Four follow ups were made across emails and calls, each time receiving the same assurance. It is now Thursday and not a single dollar has been returned. To top it off, an email came in asking for the patient's name, information that had already been provided multiple times. Disorganized, unresponsive, and unbothered sums it up well. Charging before any care is provided, then making patients fight for their own refund after 4 follow ups, is unethical and unprofessional. Go in with your eyes open.

Her specialty is heart health, but she is well versed, educated and certified in many areas of adult human physiology, and medicine. Her staff and office personnel are very pleasant, well trained, and efficiently organized. You will never wait longer than five minutes to see the doctor once you arrive for an appointment. Well, to make a long story short, it took several go-arounds to get a new 30 day prescription filled, not 90, like I had (low-dosage statin drug). It got sorted, so all is well. I was expecting to meet and see the new doc, Jeniffier Mahand, M.D. Instead I saw Jennifer Rodges, FNP-C (I think that means PA, Physicians Assistant). I liked Jennifer. She was efficient and listened. Since nothing is really off, next step was some biometrics on bodily fluids. Since a new doc is on board, the clinic is not doing the draws/collections yet. So I was given an order for Quest Diagnostics (closest is in the Tom Thumb at Rufe Snow and 1709). This was actually a good thing, as I forgot to fast. So I'm resetting my rating a bit, until I can judge how the place, without Dr. Mayfield, runs. Don't take this as a bad thing, but without more data, I need a reset. Bottom line: Big fan of the location, as I ride my bike there. Location is on the slowly growing bike/hike path that winds through Keller.

I fell recently on a Sunday night and ended up in the ER @ local hospital and CT scan showed a lot of problems, but no fractures. Dr Heldridge personally answered his cell phone when I fell --he asked many questions and then said to go to the hospital and call him afterwards, no matter the time. It took 6 hours at the hospital and I left feeling worse than I had before entering the hospital. If there were more than 5 stars, that's what a great doctor he is and his assistant, Allison, keeps the wheels moving and has an innate ability of helping, when she can. But sends messages to a Dr. H if you need his vast knowledge and lifeline of caring for his patients over at least 40 years of expertise. I would recommend Abundant Family Care to anyone who has ever felt like a number and a debit card at their own Primary Care Physician's office.
