Northstar pain management had two locations. One in Murfreesboro, TN and one in Cordova, TN. I was…read morea patient at the Murfreesboro office which was abruptly and permanently closed. I received a generic letter in the mail explaining I could travel to Cordova to continue my medical care. I live in Nashville, my only form of transportation is a wheelchair accessible uber. It would cost approximately $500 to take a monthly trip to Cordova. Not only do I not have the financial means but my body physically could not endure a 6 hour round trip every 28 days. I have repeatedly tried to contact any and everyone both at the Murfreesboro office prior to phones being disconnected to the Cordova office. I do not have my medical records because they weren't provided to me. I have asked for them over and over. They are legally my medical records. I can't go to another pain doctor without them. Because of that, I had to detox off on my medications at home which is dangerous. I'm now in more pain than I have ever been & have been trying with zero success to get my medical records. I also have been trying to find a sympathetic pain doctor who will see me without my records and referral from my last pain doctor. I haven't been able to do that. I've been trying for 8 months. I had hoped that they would have handled this professionally but it is quite clear that won't be the case.

I don't call him doctor because he didn't treat me with the standard of care provided by an MD. Not in the US anyway. I have serious doubts about his motivation. $$$$ I suspect. There's nothing wrong with that if you are paid because you have a skill, talent etc. I didn't witness the skills of a doctor in Sanapati. He came across as a very bad character actor trying to portray an angry Indian doctor with poor English speaking skills. This character and clinic needs to be investigated by the FBI, DEA, TN Medical Board and any other relative agency. Perhaps a class action lawsuit by a motivated attorney would get his attention . He takes his medicine, PRN-when needed. he also suffers from PTSD. What I witnessed when he came out was something I have never seen before. it is his story to tell, but what I will advise, always have an advocate with you. Before scheduling, ask who you will be seeing . If it is this one, I would definitely ask for someone else. you should be seen as a person seeking help in a safe environment.
