She helped me transition from being in persistent pain in both my neck and lower back to being able to not have to see her for the last year or so. A true Physician: the kind that helps you heal to the point you don't need them. She has several modalities which helped me get better. She is adept at the use of estim which combines ultrasound with electrical stimulation and this is the most effective form of physical therapy for muscle spasms I have ever encountered. She is compassionate, real, deeply cares for her patients, and knows what she is doing. You need to give the therapy time, it is an investment, but , if you stay with it, you will feel so much better. As someone who has done yoga most of my adult life I definitely appreciated how much my body got out of shape and alignment after having a baby and nursing. I ended losing all of my pregnancy weight without doing much exercise other than walking because she got my body back into alignment and moving more efficiently. I originally went in for foot pain which had worsened post partum. Dr. Friedman diligently went after the cause by looking at complete X-rays of small and not so small misalignments in my spine. Consequently she relieved tension in my neck and back that was so chronic I didn't even talk about it anymore. She did not even adjust my foot per se, yet she got me pain free within a week or two.
