    I visited Sturgess today to get some help with the key fob on my Range Rover Evoque. When…read moresuggesting that it might need new batteries. The guy behind the counter duly obliged - however the rubber on the fob itself was falling apart. On asking if one of the engineers to look at it and possibly apply some glue, the guy returned after about 2 minutes with the fob in exactly the same condition. The excuse was, 'This was the best the technician can do' That is code for: Its a Saturday, I dont want to be at work - leave me alone. As the owner of an expensive car like a Range Rover - it doesn't give a very good customer experience. In future I may decide to buy elsewhere.

We declined for several reasons. Our car had a Ceramic coating applied a few months back and I didn't want to risk it not being washed properly. Also, they scratched my last vehicle when they valeted it, it clearly wasn't rinsed properly and had fine grit in the cleaning sponges or whatever they use, and it had swirls all over the car. Anyway, they wrote on the paperwork 'DO NOT WASH'. We also hang a sign in the car that asks for the car not to be washed because of the Ceramic coating and we only have it professionally valeted. Upon collection, the car had been washed. When we got the car home we realised the paintwork had been damaged. We raised a complaint and now they are saying they are accepting no responsibility. I will keep fighting for justice because this is about principle, not the amount of money it will cost the put the damage right. And, at this point, they may as well be calling me a liar. Another unhappy customer...
