This place is a unique archive and museum of Leica cameras. - When I visited the 'Eyes wide open' exhibition at ℅ Berlin last summer, where they had early Leicas and even the first prototype on display, I was already very impressed, but the Leica Welt im Leitz-Park has even more to show. It's the most impressive collection I have ever seen. The entrance of the park is free and you can book private guided tours in advance, which are 6 Euros per person. They even have a see-through window where you can have a peak into the manfucaturing. read more

I grew up near the mine and always wanted to take a tour so we did visiting this year. It was so…read moremuch fun seeing the mine and learning about its history. Attached to the mine is a restaurant that serves local German dishes. I highly recommend having a bite before leaving. Their Schnitzels are excellent. Grube Fortuna has everything to offer for all ages. Admission to the mine was pricey. It was around $15 euros per adult for a one hour tour.
