READ IT ALL, My story of what got me to Leading Edge: After…read morea year of Watson Clinic appointments and run arounds with OBGYN post surgery tests, imaging and more trips to pee, poop, surgery site pain/burning, ER visit for the hole that opened up behind my belly button and more surgery inquiry to fix a hernia that opened up at the frick'n surgery site... AND Watson Clinic OBGYN said this all was "normal"...uummm NO, unacceptable!!! I was at my witts end, my everday 10 min task took over an hour+ to do was beyond crazy. I was living sideways like a crab. I was even contemplating suicide because no one was LISTENING to what I was saying. I kept saying to Watson Clinic "my abdominals don't work" "Nothing is moving, I don't have lower Diaphram, cannot bend over, cannot cough, cannot yell, cannot sneeze, cannot squeeze to to go to the bathroom." Uuuuggghhhh! FINALLY I found LEADING EDGE, they could see me without a referral with in the week...Yayyy. My 1st evaluation... ok-do this exercise movement, then can i do that exercise movement etc...... ok your muscles really don't work, perhaps just slightly she said. Ok here is what we are going to try and do etc.... A plan I thought to myself as I got into my car then I started crying because someone ACTUALLY acknowledged and seen what I have been talking about for months! Well... its been a month and my abdominals are actually learning to move again... I can actually sit up in my car to drive and bend to wash my hands at a sink. I'm starting to not move like a crab. Yes, the hernia is still here, but we're working around that. And surgery pain still there, but I'm thinking that's the normal for now....but I might be wrong so.. I'll keep you updated. And yes other body parts are starting to hurt because I have not used/exercised them for over a year. Keep in mind I'm Pestomistic person by nature until I'm proven wrong... and I let ya know that too.

After 7 weeks into therapy I can honestly say overall I 'am not impressed with this facility. I…read morewould have expected top quality therapists working under the esteemed Watson Clinic name. There are a few there that do a really good job, but most spend their time conversing with one another about their personal business and barely realize that you as a patient are their seeking assistance. In particular I was under the care of Ashley England. After several sessions with Ashley I had to file a complaint with the patient advocate department. This isn't something I would normally do, but my last session with her put me over the edge. She talks non-stop with her co-workers distracting them as well from their patients. I continuously had to ask her for instructions for my exercises and how many reps needed. She was too busy talking about Disney and even left to go search on her phone how much a hamburger costs there! Totally unprofessional. The last straw was when I left the session walked back in to ask for the name of the manager in that department and I caught her talking about me with her co-workers in FRONT of the other patients there. This is totally unacceptable and if Watson Clinic allows this kind of behavior with their employees their reputation will begin to falter.

He listened to the issues as I described them, explained the treatment as he worked and gave me some things I could work on at home to help. He does not use the cookie-cutter approach to his treatment, but uses an evidence-based approach. He schedules future treatments only according to each person's individual response. I highly recommend him.

Such an easy way compared to traditional surgery requiring a long incision, stiches and much longer recovery. He and his staff are courteous, freindly and professional. I was even offered snacks and beverages. Dr Jurbala also authored a must read book named Your X-Ray Is Not Your Destiny, on reducing arthritis pain, available on Amazon.

Dr.s Patterson and Evans and their staff are professional, attentive and friendly. They were very…read morehelpful every step of the way, and Angie is a great surgery coordinator. Dr. Evans is especially friendly and helpful. He has a great bedside manner making you feel comfortable and making sure he has answered all your questions. The check out staff is a bit stuffy and could learn how to smile but I care more about how I am treated by the nurses and doctors. They also see you right away and for me that is very important since I miss work for my appointments. Very little wait time.

They did not make me feel welcome and were not accommodating at all, but the worst thing was when they started telling lies because they made mistakes and tried to cover themselves. So rude, they don't return calls or messages in MyChart, they also don't send the medication to the pharmacy that the Doctor has ordered, and then try to make excuses, telling lies about why it isn't there. The manager of this office is no better, she told me over a week ago that she will send me a referral for another office and the information to make a formal complaint, and I still have not heard anything from her. Instead of talking to his patients directly when there is an obvious problem, Dr. Timothy Evans hides and lets his staff, who are not nice enough or honest enough to have this position, continue to cause stress in his patients. No, he refuses to see patients and doesn't even have the manners to tell them, let alone a reason, why. This is known as abandonment!

These guys are truly the best and so professional when it comes to physical therapy…read more I've had to come here two separate times for issues with both of my knees, and Clark has been amazing. He's so knowledgeable and attentive, and you can tell he's super passionate about what he does. The first time I came, I had been having severe pain in my knees for months and months- I got an MRI and found out I had a partial tear in my meniscus and other damaged cartilage behind my kneecap. The surgeon didn't want to touch it so I wasn't given a guidance and it just continued to get worse. When I came here, Clark finally helped me figure out that the issue wasn't even all the torn and damaged cartilage, but that my kneecap was out of place from all my years playing basketball. He helped get to the root of my issue and had my knee feeling better in a little over a month when no one else was giving me any real answers. Clark is also a former college athlete, which I am myself, and having someone who's been through similar experiences and knows how to help my injuries that have stemmed from playing sports made me even more comfortable. All of the PT's here are great- I've talked to multiple other patients and many of them have come back for different issues and gotten the help they needed. Even Alicia who works at the front is the sweetest admin and helps get all the insurance and appointments set up swiftly. Whether you're an athlete, coming off of a surgery or just needing guidance with an unknown injury, the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Associates are a fantastic option for support.

Bilateral carpal tunnel release 2 weeks ago. As a retired neuro nurse I waited years to have this…read moreprocedure. Finally I had no choice as I had NO use of my left hand and impaired use of my right hand. Started researching and met with a few orthopedics and neurosurgeons. My search led me to CARPAL TUNNEL RELEASE in Lakeland. This Ultra-minimally invasive procedure, TOMO release was invented by Dr Jurbala (thanks Doc!) All I can say is WOW ! 2 WEEKS and my right hand is 100% back to normal. My left hand which was excessively compressed for many years, will take a bit longer. For the past 6 months, I couldn't feel any of my fingers, they were always numb with shooting pain. Right hand is now at 75% and and left hand is at 100%. AGAIN SINCE PROCEDURE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PAIN ! And I could use my hands within days!!!
