I had prepped myself to have a light lunch and only get the Beyond the rainbow roll. It was so good, delicious seasoned rice to crab, avocado, and the fish was a perfect temperature to be able to absorb all the umami and butteryness of the fish. That was so good, I had to get a few more nigiri pieces since I was there. Also, Chef Jae was there working. Awesome to see. Chutoro, maguro, scallop (from hokkaido), ikura (from japan and marinated in house, and I learned they do have quail egg, just have to ask), and tamago (made from japanese eggs). Everything was served very well. Service was excellent by the waitress, Wagyu old fashioned made with wagyu fat washed Nikka coffey grain whiskey and japanese sugar hit the spot. Loved the clear ice for the elevated cocktail. Will definitely be back! P.s.
