There are courses built out all over the gym for the kids and they're different every week. They get especially creative around the holidays. They move around the gym to different stations with creative obstacle courses, like climbing along the rungs of a ladder and trying not to fall through the cracks into the swamp with the alligators or hopping over the witches hats on the balance beam! All this really keeps the kids engaged. The teachers are very patient as the little kids aren't usually following all of the directions and they keep the environment fun. Even when my son gets scared of new things, the instructors give the kids the space and support they need to get them motivated to participate. On top of making the classes super fun for the kids, Planet Gymnastics goes above and beyond and recognizes each kid periodically throughout the year with medals, giving them a sense of accomplishment and something to physically bring home for all of their hard work.

I have two toddlers enrolled in classes here and they LOVE going to gymnastics. The teachers are…read moresuper patient and kind. Miss Ryleigh and Miss Greta are our favorites. The gym magically operates like organized chaos - everyone know where they're supposed to go next, and I haven't seen anyone crashing into each other. Sometimes it's so busy in there with various different groups practicing next to each other, but it works. There are viewing windows where parents can sit and watch their kids....or pretend they're watching their kids while they are really looking at their phones. Unfortunately these spots fill up with uninterested parents so that the parents who actually want to watch their kids have nowhere to sit. We had a 4 year old birthday party here recently and it was so easy - they did everything for us and even cleaned up afterwards.

We went to several competitions where our team was significantly behind in skills than other teams we were up against. Ace coaches spent several practices having the team play games and warming up twice because another team was warming up and they needed the same coach. So instead of having the team move on to practice for an upcoming comp, they had them repeat warm up drills. We paid over 5k a year in gymnastics. The gym manager is unprofessional and extremely rude. She is running the business into the ground. Unwilling to listen to parent concerns. The entire team left together to go to another gym where in 4 weeks they have already learned more skills than a year at ace. Some of the coaches are not qualified and the tuition needs to reflect that.

Peeps behind desk are just talking amongst them selves and kid coaches are rambling amongst them selves as well pretty much ignoring the kids around them. Is there a sign in? No clue. Rules are must have masks on, it half the staff is not wearing a mask for covid... this is annoying. Also bay doors are to be open for circulation for covid but are usually closed. Again annoying. Common staff, let's get organized and keep this safe for our kids.

My daughter has now been here for close to a decade. My sons attended when they were younger, but have since moved on due to their interest change, nothing the gym did. With Seacoast's help, my daughter has grown into a confident competitive gymnast The coaches are patient and continuously look for drills to help the gymnast grow and get through mental blocks. Never once did I feel as if my child was unsafe here. And one should not mistake a stern voice for yelling at the kids. There is a difference. All 3 of my kids love Coach Delaney. She is hardworking and it is obvious she loves what she does. She knows every single kid who walks into the gym's name, even when they're not in her class. She encourages each one to excel and learn new skills. Coach Dom is a sweetheart and one of the team girls' biggest cheerleaders. And very knowledgeable in gymnastics. Coach Colin, we have known the longest. He also is a great asset to the gym. He offers great support and advice to the team to strengthen their skills.

I tried an adult gymnastics class at this location, and my trial was sort of a mixed bag…read more Starting with registration, the website mentioned the class was full but that drop-ins were possible, so I reached out about it. They were able to accommodate me which was great, and I paid my fee and got the paperwork filled out. (The paperwork was 100% as if I was a parent filling it out for my child. Kind of weird, but not the worst so I just moved on). When I showed up (maybe 10 mins early), there was no one there to greet me. The whole place was full of kids and I didn't see any adults, so I started to worry that I showed up on the wrong day or time, but once the class time officially started, I saw a group of people who were warming up on trampolines. Since I wasn't greeted and there wasn't anyone who was clearly in charge, I assumed class started. I interrupted two people who looked like they may work there, and they said the class had started - and I could go join the others. They gave me some simple instructions on how to warm up and then I was on my own. The class itself was most enjoyable because of the other attendees. They realized that I wasn't sure what to do and they helped me figure things out. The coach was less helpful and I felt very out of place- she never introduced herself to me, or to the other members of the class. I did pay $40 for the class, so I expected at least a greeting and maybe a little bit of guidance on how to work my way into things. The class does have a lot of different workouts and combination of floor exercise and bars, balance beam, etc. so I did feel like I had a decent workout and learned a little bit about gymnastics. Personally, I felt that the experience was fine, but I wasn't overly impressed with my first time, so I decided it wouldn't be a fit for a regular weekly class.
