The session focused on connecting with your inner child, and it was surprisingly fun, heartfelt, and even a little healing. Bonus -- I ended up winning their raffle! I almost couldn't hold in the laughter. Always happy to donate to a local charity I suppose. This franchise will never even be a consideration for me in the future. Also, they have staff in this bldg 3 days a week for just a few hours at a time, so when you need to cancel and it HAS to be done in person, you'll have to carve out some specific time in the schedule to go have your money stolen. It's a super intimate setting with only four reformers, which I really appreciate because it means more attention and guidance from the instructor. She was helpful, friendly, and welcoming, and guided us thru the movements while still keeping the class challenging. There's parking in the front and streets. I had no issues finding one. I'll def be back for Tuesday Pilates and more of these intimate classes.

These are reformer classes and because they are small sized classes (4 reformers in the studio) each student gets ample attention from the instructor and is able to be corrected on form, ask questions, make modifications, etc. They also have cute pop-ups and collaborations with other small businesses. It is also in the cutest area (I love the Central 9th area) and has free parking. I recommend grabbing a breakfast sandwich next door at Central 9th Market if you're doing a morning class, or some food/drinks at Bar Nohm, The Pearl, Laziz, or Scion Cider if you're doing a night class. Definitely check it out if you haven't, because it's incredible.

She helped me and a couple of other noobies learn the form. I was pretty much able to keep up and boy I burned a ton of calories. They want you to sign up for a membership. I would if I could reasonably afford and make time! The prices range from 69-99. Sign up on the first day and you are waived from the $100 initation fee. One con I am upset about is the fact that the three day pass has to be used consecutively. I could not make it on my second day so it waives my freebie.

This review is for the Avenues location…read more It is one of my favorite go-to fitness studios for barre classes. There's ample parking in the residential streets if unable to find any in front of the building (limited spots). You'll need to enter the building from the side; and then, take the stairs down once enter thru the front door. The studio and restroom (one) are super clean and bright. There are storage caddies to place your personal belongings in; and a filtered water faucet across. They provide clean towels near storage and inside the restroom if you forgot to bring yours. The staff at the front desk makes me feel so welcomed. All smiles and good energy, which makes such a difference! I've taken 3 different types of barre classes here and they're all challenging, fun, easy to follow, and fast-paced. What's so important to me is how the instructors provide training and correct my posture. I believe the right posture and movements make a difference for an optimal result. I feel amazing every time I take the class. One of the reasons why this studio makes me feel like it's something to look forward to.
