I had someone else do the job for $350.00 cheaper. I thought that was it, taken care of....NOPE Approximately ten days later a crew from TVF was out at my house to put up a fence, I stopped them just in time before they took down my fence I just had put up, I thought that was also the end of it....NOPE I received a bill in the mail from TVF stating that i owed them 25% of the cost of the original fence do to not canceling. I spoke on the phone with one of the owners who stated that I never called and cancelled and was unwilling to hear anything I had to say. The owner took me to small claims court witch took almost a year due to me being in Afghanistan. I spoke with a mediator and the Owner (Mr. Owens) to settle this, and he was persistent that since they had to load the truck and drive to my location and go back to unload the truck then I was going to be charged, he also stated I never called. I showed the owner the phone records from W.O.W. with the date and time and the duration of the call on the date I told him, Mr. Owens then changed his statement and said that it was a contract issue. I thought that was funny since I had the proof that I called but his company dropped the ball and he wants to push it onto me. After small claims court, (which I won, but now he is taking me to civil court) I told Mr. Owens that its sad to see a owner not care that one of his employees took my message and didn't pass it along but he his going after me. Mr. Owens then told me that that his company made 6.5 million last year and it wasn't about the money, but since we posted our comments on the BBB and his Facebook it made him upset. I would not use this company unless your 100% sure your going to do the job, and also do research on this company because this isn't the first time.

We just had a brand new fence put in by Redstone Fencing that cost over $7,000. Several of the posts have major cracks in them and at least 30 of the pickets are split right where they were attached. This is not our first fence, we understand some splitting is normal, but this beyond that. We emailed pictures of the issues to them with only a basic response of we'll give you some pickets. They denied any responsibility and never even came back to look at the posts. They were polite, just not at all helpful. If you're making this type of an investment in a relatively small fence, I would definitely look for a more experienced company. Redstone puts all the right sayings on their web page about building relationships, being pros, etc.... It's just not true. There are several other fence company choices, choose one of them.

What a bad experience that I have to see every single day. Ruco was not the cheapest quote I had…read morereceived to fence my property. The old fence was removed and replaced in a single day, which was worrying. Within days the fence pickets were warping. One of the owners of Ruco came out and took photos, sent them to the lead installer. Comments were made about how these materials didn't seem to compare to what they normally see. Ruco scheduled his team to come repair. The attitude of the lead installer was poor, defensive. After picking out many boards that needed to be replaced, they ran out of nails. I supplied their team with coils of nails for their nail guns so they could attempt to finish the work, they ran out of pickets. After leaving I called Ruco back, asking for further action. When the owner came out we looked at the fence again, pointing out a few different things such as an entire panel that was bowed "what do you want me to do, replace the entire section?" I shouldn't have to ask, you should install a quality product. We scheduled another service, the owner came out instead of his team with a stack of boards and a hammer fit for a grade schooler. I set up my own chop saw and cut boards for him, sad. There is more sadness to the story, that I don't have the urge to keep this going. After multiple attempts to erect a visibly appealing fence, we all gave up. Ruco wants to get in and out, quantity over quantity. Poor product No craftsmanship Bad service Over priced

LOW-END QUALITY FOR HIGH-END PRICE…read more I could post paragraph after paragraph depicting my nightmare of an experience with Woodland Homes....but a "Karen rant" quickly loses both its credibility and effectiveness. My goal is in no way to slander a company name. In fact, Woodland maintains so much pride in their product, they will not even approve the requested repairs to my home, despite offering an eleven-month home warranty. Therefore, I am posting this review so that I may share first-hand photos of the quality work you will receive if you purchase a Woodland home. The model is beautiful and the ladies in the office are incredibly helpful, but please let these photos speak for themselves. I don't own Ugg boots, nor do I like pumpkin spiced lattes, so please heed my advice and purchase elsewhere. I hear Pearson, just down the road, has really elevated the quality of their homes to match the increased price-point. I wish I would have purchased there...or anywhere other than Woodland. I will happily update photos if any repairs are actually made, but communication, accountability, and work ethic have, in my experience, been a lost concept.

Very sincere and gave me answers to all the questions I had. I had a few around 8 other quotes from different fencing companies. Phillip was eager to get my business and went lower on my final cost than all the other companies. I was hesitant to continue with the project once I read a a few of the comments. Now in days its a gamble and risk on any company they can show you pictures videos but not until they do the job you will know if its good or bad. I took a gamble and I'm glad I hired Phillip and his team to built my private fencing. He explained to me it would take about 3 to 4 days to get it all complete. If there would be delays it would be only due to heavy rain .Phillip and his crew showed up with all the material and started making the holes. After that 1st day that night we got heavy rain all night and the next day. Phillip called me at 8am to let me know that he will not be making it due to the rain and road conditions. I had no problem I understood. The next day Phillip and his crew showed up and started building the fence. I was very impressed at how fast and clean work they did. By the third day they were practically almost completed and just needed the final touches. I will also add that the last 2 days it was hot 96 degrees and humidity was high. I was surprised that didn't slow them down. I must give it to them they worked liked dogs to get the job done. I was happy I took the opportunity to hire Phillip & his crew. All hard workers and making sure I was happy with the results. Once the wall was completed I was happy with the quality of work and most of all the best pricing out there . I would definitely recommend to Hire Barn Wood walls Fencing & decking for any future jobs. The efficiency and work ethic was great and after all the results were great. Very beautiful job done. I will be bringing Phillip back in a few weeks to get my fence stained . Sometimes more expensive and higher reputation companies doesn't guarantee a better job, or smaller company and cheaper price doesn't guarantee a good job either. As I stated I felt that Phillip was highly experienced at his work ,and sure enough he is. I am happy with my Privacy fence.

We spent approximately $32,000 on this fence, and the quality of the finished product is nowhere…read morenear what we expected for that kind of investment. We have boards that were installed without enough nails, and some boards are already falling off. Several posts were not cut properly, leaving rails that do not sit flush. The gate has a significant gap and does not properly lock, defeating one of the basic purposes of having a fenced property. The lack of attention to detail continued throughout the project. Nails were left scattered around our property, creating a safety concern for our dogs, people, and equipment. We were also surprised when the crew arrived without the equipment necessary to move the large quantity of fence boards around our property. They asked to use our personal tractor and used it throughout the week they were here. Without the use of our tractor, it is difficult to understand how they planned to complete the job. The staining was equally disappointing. They underestimated how much stain would be required for the fence and watered down the stain in an attempt to stretch what they had. It still wasn't enough to properly complete the job. We were left with areas that are inadequately stained, an uneven appearance, and visible water marks. For approximately $32,000, we should not have boards falling off, missing nails, poorly cut posts, rails that aren't flush, a gate that is gapped and doesn't lock, nails left throughout the property, and an incomplete, uneven stain job. This wasn't an inexpensive fence where minor imperfections might be understandable. This was a major investment, and we expected professional workmanship, proper equipment, quality control, and a finished product that was actually complete and functional. Unfortunately, that is not what we received. Based on the quality of the work and our experience with this project, we cannot recommend this company. Owner said he would make it right but keeps saying he's working on larger jobs. It's a shame he took advantage of a combat wounded veteran after convincing us how important it is to complete this job professionally.
