We had a window broken in our bedroom around Thanksgiving time. We called a couple of glass places and had them out for repair quotes. All of the quotes we received were very high. One company didn't even bother, even after several calls. Just before Christmas, we contacted Legacy Glass in Lolo. They came out within 2 days. Called the same day with a quote and said they would call when the window Glass came in. On 2 January, their installer came out. What a respectful and considerate man. Great place. My daughter in laws driver Windsor had fallen off track...she took her truck there and voila they fixed it! No charge. I needed drivers window and windshield replaced. Legacy glass came and installed a glass shower door when we moved into our home. They were very professional and prompt. After a few months the glass did sag a little. If you own a classic car avoid them at all costs. They know nothing, and think they know everything. They could not even identify the component parts correctly. They told me not to tell them what to do. They installed the rear window only, and did not even complete the trim. These people are good for windshields and flat glass only. "Car guys" beware. In addition, both the owner and his wife are rude and use foul language, which as a customer I find offensive. Take your car to J&D Auto glass in Missoula. They immediately identified the parts correctly and proved Lolo glass wrong. They explained the installation in detail and knew exactly what to do. J & D knows what they're doing. Needed a windshield replaced in my Kenworth W900. Called Safelite when I was in Tacoma. The tech told me I would have to remove my external sun visor before they could work on it. Waited for the next day when I stopped at the TA in Missoula. Had my DOT inspection done, TA recommended Lolo Glass. The tech Justin showed up at 11:15 PM and did not make me remove the visor. He had the old one out and the new one installed in about a hour. Great service and great tech, will always use Lolo Glass for all my future needs. read more
