The front staff and assistants were friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, our experience with the dentist was the opposite. She walked in and immediately told my sister, "You're gonna lose a lot of teeth today." Then, as she pointed at each tooth, she repeated "rotten, rotten, rotten, rotten." That is absolutely not something you say to a young girl in pain. It was unprofessional and alarming. To make matters worse, the office setup is fairly open, and my sister was embarrassed that other people could hear these comments. She then stated she would need to pull four teeth because they "couldn't be saved." When I asked if she could at least address the one causing the pain, she laughed and said, "Today? Oh, no. I have appointments after yours." She gave my sister pain medication and sent us on our way, leaving her in tears. The next week, we went to another dentist and they found she only needed fillings...not extractions, not even a root canal. I am so thankful we didn't go through with her treatment plan... my sister would have lost four healthy teeth for no reason. I left very disappointed with both her "bedside manner" and her professional judgement. Our experience did not reflect the glowing reviews we had read.
