Occasionally their payment system goes down, and they don't tell anyone. They wait until after rent was due to tell everyone, then tack on $200 to your rent. And they require you to pay by check when that happens and you have to drop it off in person when the office is open. Maintenance is slow. They send out messages saying they decided to "punish" us by "closing the pool for an undetermined length of time" because someone tore a pool chair. Pool chairs that were old before we even moved there, and sat outside multiple summers and winters and thus dry rotted. Just sitting on them could have torn them. They offered the choice of free carpet cleaning or led light bulbs for renewing our lease. We chose the LED lights. Scheduled a time for them to changed them out over and ever and no one ever showed up. We never got the bulbs. The complex gets bought and sold every 6mo to a year. Because office staff is constantly changing, so are the rules, and they can never keep track of who's parking spots are who's etc. You don't get a parking spot with your apartment rental. You have to pay one (monthly fee) We don't like paying extra cleaning, repair fees, etc. so we left the place move-in ready. Scrubbed everything top to bottom. Shampooed the carpet, not a single ding or mark on any wall, replaced the blind slat that had a kink in it, literally everything. They still tacked on a $435 maintenance and cleaning fee. Overall we have been very happy with our experience here. The apartments are nice and well maintained. We have really liked the 2 bedroom floor plan. As others have noted, parking can be tough for second vehicles, particularly in the winter as street parking is limited. It isn't impossibly to find parking though. The "dog park" is nothing to write home about, it's extremely small and only really good for very small dogs. We would simply take our dog over to the apartments by Maverick and let our dog play in their dog park. These are solid apartments, we could live here for a lot longer, but we purchased a home. read more

I'll start with the bad: the construction of the cabinets are very fragile and fall apart easy but as long as you contact maintenance, it will be fixed. Now for the good: the management here has been very kind, understanding and helpful to me. I am military and had gotten orders to leave. We moved in to the Legacy Crossing Apts. exactly 9 months ago today, and I remember the day we took the tour, I specifically asked Derek (with management) about noise, because we preferred a unit on the ground level.. We're quiet folks and are very respectful and considerate for others, anyways we opted for a ground unit on the end inside the D building. He stated they were really quiet and that the building was 'sound proof' and that we shouldn't have any problems blah, blah, blah... Well, he lied! It's horrible, the noise you get from inconsiderate tenants that lived above us were "the worst".. I'm talking about all throughout the day, everyday 'til 1-2am in the morning and was worse on the weekends and it wasn't just above us, you'd deal with all kinds of noises throughout the building and us being on ground level, it seemed to just magnify directly downward and we get it all!! Well, so much for it being 'sound proof' like Derek said... Our complaints about noise fell on deaf ears, Sumer and Derek who is management are your "typical managers" they're terrible and very unprofessional!! Besides the fact that they're shady, they do not acknowledge/reply about any concerns you have.. They basically avoid any issues and just try to manage from their computers and addressing anyone's concerns by email, 'numerous emails'.. When we lived there, we had to pay an extra $10 every month added to our rent that would fluctuate, they charge you to pay online through their portal app and if you pay by check, you still have to pay $5 extra.. So, I ordered me a checkbook just to pay our rent with because it was an extra $5 versus $10.. Smh, very inconvenient! Speaking of, this place has SO MANY HIDDEN FEES AND THEY CHARGE YOU FOR SERVICES YOU DO NOT EVEN USE, IT'S RIDICULOUS!!! Our rent was "supposedly" $1045 but after we moved in, we were being billed anywhere from $1250-$1265, plus the fee of $5-$10 depending on how we paid for that month.. If you have more than 1 vehicle, good luck on finding an open spot near your unit because other than your 1 assigned covered parking you pay $20 for every month, you literally cannot find an open stall anywhere so yes, parking is definitely an issue. To be honest, the only thing these places have to offer and most likely will entice you, are their granite countertops, cabinets and appliances.. Yeah, it's still fairly new and It's got a nice little set-up but other than that, THAT'S IT!! Don't let that fool you.. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!! If you decide to move in anyways, here's something to consider maybe before signing a lease.. Look at all the empty units in every building, you can easily see it by taking a walk around the apts. I lived in this complex for over a year and it was 11 months too long. Anyone saying that they "nickel and dime" you is absolutely correct. They start off by giving you a great price but then after all of their BS charges you are paying way more than other places. I firmly believe that anyone that is giving this place positive reviews is either a bot or one of the managers posting a good review to offset the dozens of poor ones. The management rarely answered their phones so when you left messages, there was a low chance you would get a call back. They said that they record phone calls but when they say something that could potentially hurt them or cause them to miss out on a cent of your money, they magically don't have them. They were unresponsive in getting things taken care of with maintenance requests and then when I had been there for a couple months, they went ahead and gave my parking stall to another tenant. I was told by the previous management that there were some fees that would be removed upon ending my lease but I never got it in writing because I trusted them. That was back in May when Chelsea was managing it. They sent us a letter asking for the fees a month later so I called and they confirmed again that everything was taken care of. Now, almost 6 months later, I get a letter from a law office stating that they are taking us to collections. After speaking to the new management, we were told that no, we had to pay them and that there was no record of us being told that by the previous management. I would have been more than happy to pay the fees when they sent the original notices but instead they just lie and lie until they get to charge for all of their made-up fees. They have been through 3 different managements in the past 2 years and I suspect it is due to the amount of complaints that they receive. Get anything that they say to you in writing because I guarantee you, they will try and screw you over on something. Please, do not give these guys your money. There are other places to live. **Edit** 7/15/16 They took steps to get the internet upgraded and now it's downloading over the wireless network at 500MB Down/ 50MB Up. Thank you for fixing the internet issues here! With any apartment complex you expect to sign a "Media Package". When they say "125MB Internet" What they don't state is that it COULD be that but more than likely it will be around 30-50MB all day long with random disconnects throughout the entire day. When they say they will get someone 'on it' there is absolutely no communication back. They also use a tech support company who's backup support is labeled "Emergency Support". I have been in the IT field for 15 years I'm sorry but when I can out tech their outsourced tech support and they have no idea what is wrong, get someone better. I just barely moved in so I am stuck here for 9 more months and I will update my review once I have moved out. Hopefully the experience get's better from here. Parking is ok, we got an end unit on the ground floor so the patio small. Advantage is one of us can park on the street IF it's available otherwise you park in the boonies to get home. Condition of the apartment on move-in was ok. The floors were in my opinion at least very worn down condition. The showers feel like a plastic well let's just put it honest, piece of crap. It creeks and the floor of the tub wobbles as you try to get out throwing off your balance. The cupboards are do short and you can fit maybe 3 glasses worth of length if your lucky. Overall for them calling them "Luxury" apartments, I have seen MUCH better for the price we are paying here. We have been very satisfied with this complex. The quality of the apartment for the cost is great, we paid less than a crappy apartment in murray and got more space and much better quality. Granite countertops, no-slam cabinets, great floor plans. I love the management. They have been great. They know all the residents by name and are kind and reasonable. The parking is the only complaint. We had someone park in the reserved spot and it was difficult to get the management to give us the tow company's number for the property, even though the rules state that any vehicle parked there without permission will be towed. Once we finally received that information, we were able to get the vehicle towed. There are quite a few people who park in the street, but that is honestly laziness because there is a parking lot without reserved parking just to the east of the apartments, not to mention the movie theater parking. The apartment buildings are secured with keys. It may be more time consuming to let people in, but the halls are safe, clean, don't smell, and I feel safe in. We had an apartment on the bottom floor, so we were able to enter through the patio. The apartment management made attempts to have community events. Since we didn't have children, we didn't go, but it was a nice gesture. Overall, I am happy with the property. My only complaint was the hesitancy of the apartment management to give us the phone number to tow the car in the spot. I wasted an hour trying to call a tow truck through another company before one told me that there was a company contracted to go there. Yet the office did not disclose that during any of the multiple attempts to contact them about the problem. read more

If you're looking for a place to live, this is certainly a place to live - and that's as far as I'd go. The apartments are priced fairly for what they are, but there are about a million downsides to living here. The apartments are LOUD. The walls may as well be made of paper. The neighbors above us stomped around like there was a basketball game in their apartment. Not to mention the people playing their music loudly all hours of the night. We paid nearly $1,000 a month to live there; it felt like I was back in my college dorm. The parking situation is horrible. If you have one vehicle you'll have no problem as you'll be provided a covered spot with your apartment, but if there are two vehicles in your apartment, good luck. You'll end up parking on the street or in the dirt lot across the street. The management is the real reason this review gets one star. When they have a message to be communicated, they put a snarky little note on your door. They don't call and communicate like an adult would - it's the most childish situation I've ever been around. They come into your apartment to change the filters on the central air units and police your apartments. If you like being treated like a child while paying to live in these apartments, it's the place for you. If not, find somewhere else to go. read more

I lived in this apartment from September 2012 to July 2013. I was really excited about finding this place at first, because I thought they would be nice and affordable. They are nice but they are definitely not affordable. My husband and I had the smallest one bedroom apartment they offered at I believe 670 square feet. This is the smallest and most expensive apartment that I have lived in. They advertise their rent pretty low but then they add everything on top of that. (Entertainment package that you must have for $100, parking stall for $15, water, sewer, trash etc.) When I first moved in their covered parking was not yet finished but I still had to pay for a stall that I couldn't even park in. My first night sleeping I was kept awake by a whining dog. I know that in apartments that you will be able to hear your neighbors but I was able to hear my neighbors sneeze, phones vibrate, have conversations, and various other things including having sex which is quite awkward. The parking is horrible with only 8 guest parking spots for the entire complex which they are always taken by the same cars that do not move. The controlled access was something I was excited for as well but they do not have a buzzing system so if you ever have a guest come you have to go to the door and let them in the building. Your key fobs do not work from building to building either. Thankfully my husband and I lived on the bottom floor so we had our guests come through our backdoor. Another thing that I was bothered by was the sprinkling system. Yes they water the lawn but they water it too much! Centerville needs to conserve their water and Legacy Crossing apartments lawn is like a swamp. It is disgusting to walk through. Also our dish washer did not dry our dishes so we would have to hand wash them. One thing I appreciated about living at this apartment was my husband and I realized that for the amount of rent we were paying we could buy a house. We are currently building a house right now for only slightly less than what we were paying for our small one bedroom one bathroom apartment. We enjoyed our time here for the most part but would definitely not recommend this place to our friends nor family. I would say save your money and buy a house. read more

My family lived here for 3 years. We had few problems while living there, but have had nothing but issues since moving out. We received our final rental invoice and the amount was about half of what we were expecting. We went to the leasing office and talked to the property manager asking if it was accurate. We were assured it was right and that's all we needed to pay. We verified several times that we wouldn't be told later that we owed more for rent. Fast forward now 2 months after we've moved out and they've come back and said there was "a glitch in the system" and we now owe over $1100!!!! Some of that is cleaning expenses, which is normal and I'm fine with, but most of it is for rent. I sent an email to the property manager telling her that this is unacceptable customer service and why should we have to pay for their mistake. All she did was say sorry and take off $200. Better than nothing, but still not the right thing to do in my opinion. I've worked in customer service fore over 10 years and have given refunds for lots of things, always when it was the company's fault and even sometimes when it was the customer's fault. I told the property manager that if they didn't do the right thing and refund the full extra rent we were charged that I would not be recommending Legacy Crossing to others, so here we are. read more

I am only leaving one star because I couldn't leave zero. First off, these units are way overpriced, but that's how the market is trending. Just know you can get more space for your $ looking elsewhere, though. Also know that your aparment is going to smell horribly due to the dumpsters. These apartments are located indoors, sort of like a motel/hotel with hallways. And the hallways are fitted with garbage chutes that allow you to throw out your garbage from the hallway. Very convenient, but unfortunately, the place literally smells like a dump. The management here is the real problem. They will say anything to get you in the door, but once you sign on, they couldn't possibly care any less about you. They make you use their piece of junk front loading washers that invariably leak, and will invariably cause a strong mildew smell to fill up your tiny, overpriced apartment. Maintainence came in, opened our laundry door and plugged his nose when he smelled the mildew. Then he promptly said, "yeah, sorry. This is the problem with these front-loaders. They just leak and smell like this." They DID NOT CARE. They also have a racket going where they will nickel and dime you on your way out, sending you a several hundred dollar bill a few weeks after you have moved out. absolute worst apartment complex to live in. we lived in our first apartment here on the 4th floor. they were working on some pipes on the roof in a rain storm. lets just say the pipe burst into our apartment only and we got flooded and were forced to move across the hall. we had over 5000 dollars worth of damage that we were told to file with the renters insurance. the renters insurance company said it was the apartments fault and they are liable for damages that we have yet been paid for yet. we were moved across the hall into a dirty apartment that wasn't cleaned dirty bathrooms and kitchen with filthy carpets. they at least had the courtesy to pay for movers to move our things into the other apartment. after living in this new apartment over a year. our light bill went up 6x the amount of the other apartment we were living in. the air conditioning never worked. found out a week ago when we started smelling gas in our apartment and had the gas company come out and was told thay our apartment was not up to code and we shoule have never been moved in here in the first place. the management company was switched a few months ago but quite frankly they are just as terrible as the previous company. we have our whole porch covered in bird crap that we have asked over and over again for them to come and clean it off cause we cant even go outside and enjoy our patio that we pay for. ive put in requests with them and they put it off for weeks until its convenient for them to get to it. our ac went out mid summer and it took them 3 weeks to come fix. over all this place is too expensive and built cheap management sucks and are ignorant and only want to respond by email. all maintenance requests are done verbally because the online portal is not functioning so there is no formal record of any request made specifically ( the missing carbon monoxide detecter) that i requested verbally. then the day they came to install them the maintenance manager at the front desk Alex had the nerve to tell me that i had to pay out of pocket for these missing detectors that were not here when i moved in conveniently. probably because they knew the apartment was not up to code when moving in. definitely explore your options before moving here. we pay almost 1600 a month for a 2 bed 2 bath 1000 square foot apartment not including utilities or the expensive media package read more

I don't know what I love the most but here is a quick recap: - The owner(s) - I believe that the owner(s) of this property see it as a long term investment and are not afraid to invest in the community they have created. - The management team - They are friendly, professional and truly care about the residents! We had a mishap with the sprinklers going off on our balcony (good news is they work REALLY well) on a Saturday evening. Our apartment manager came by to make sure we were okay - She wasn't angry, but rather truly concerned and wanted to be sure we were okay. They also continue to be quick to fix any issues that are brought to their attention. - The residents - The residents here are very friendly and polite. The pet owners are very respectful of others and clean up after their furry family members. The people that use tobacco products here are also very polite and clean. I have yet to come across a butt or mess on the grounds that was left behind. They are also considerate of where they choose to smoke. I feel like I should also point out that the construction crew that is working on the last building is very professional and friendly. They are very good about making sure that construction material is not left in the resident parking areas (I lost 2 tires at my last apartment complex due to this issue). AVOID! APARTMENT MANAGER ADMITTED THEY ARE SKIRTING UTAH LAWS TO CHARGE RESIDENTS MORE MONEY! ALL AMC PROPERTIES ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY BASED ON THEIR HISTORY OF LAWSUITS. Short version: Utah law says it's illegal to take money from a deposit to pay for cleaning/wear and tear damages. So this complex (and many others owned by AMC) don't charge a deposit, and then directly charge you for cleaning/wear and tear damages when you move out. Through a series of emails where I contested the charges the apartment manager admitted that if I had been charged a deposit they wouldn't be charging those fees but because there was no deposit they said they were completely justified. And I also flat out caught their employees lying to me in regards to those "damages". I had my exist walk through in which the employee explicitly mentioned that the walls showed no damages, then they tried to charge me painting fees for damaged walls. I insisted they show me where the damages were, and explain why their own employee said there were no damages, they refused to provide any proof of damages, and they couldn't even tell me WHERE the alleged damages were, they threatened to send me to collections, I threatened to sue, then they dropped the damage fees. SHADY, if they were willing to admit to things like this in emails you know they will say anything to get your money, AVOID AMC OWNED PROPERTIES! Other issues: frequent internet issues which they cannot help with (farmed out IT support who is never available) Multiple packages stolen from front door, complex dragged their feet and said they had no plans to increase security Rent increased significantly year over year, when I complained they said they were in line with other complexes and gave me a helpful list. Then didn't mention that the other complexes they were "in line with" were all AMC owned properties also, so of COURSE they all increased rent a similar amount. read more

Me and my girlfriend lived here for 13 months. I recommend for anyone looking at apartments to look elsewhere. Living conditions were decent but my issue is after leaving legacy crossing apartments. They refused to give my security deposit back within a reasonable time period. They had told me and my girlfriend on various occasions that the reason there was a delay was due to our pet deposit being set up incorrectly (not my problem) but i still waited the 6-8 weeks that they said it would take to process. After 8 weeks i called and told them i had not received my deposit back. After 2 months of calling weekly to speak with the manager regarding my deposit and not having my calls returned, i advised them that i would be taking legal action. I received an email (not a phone call like i had requested) stating that my check had been mailed out the week prior. LIES!!!!! The check had been dated for the day i had called telling them i would take legal action and was sent next day air. Pool is closed more often than not, internet went down 2-3 times a month which was a real pain because i worked from home and if you have a pet look out!!! They blamed us for our pet peeing(10 year old house trained dog) in the halls, we didn't even walk through the halls, we took the stairs. When we had asked them for proof or asked for them to install cameras so that they could catch the correct tenant for their negligence we were told the owner of the property didn't want to. Also the train passes by and makes a ton of noise. I wish we had never moved in. They have some new apartments across the street i wish we had moved there instead of here. UTAH law also states that a deposit should be given back within 30 days, if you are in a situation like i was you are well within your rights to take legal action. read more

They do not take issues seriously. Stay away! I can't use my plumbing because people's stuff from upstairs is backing into my bathtub. This the 4th time since we moved in, and we haven't even lived here a full 3 months yet. I am more than livid. I have asked them multiple times and even emailed them asking to send out a mass letter of what not to put down their garbage disposals (I work for Discount Plumbing Service, so I know what I am talking about) and other things so this doesn't keep happening, but they don't. Like we didn't even have proper blinds or even toilet paper holders until 2 weeks ago. This place stunk of cat urine and we've done a lot to get that smell out. I love the management staff as people- they are adorable and bubbly and just all around super cute! But on a professional level, they suck. They are amazing, amazing people! Sumer is especially lovely as a person- I just adore her! So it's really hard to have to write a review about the staff because it almost feels like I'm smack talking her or something. Well, apparently Centerville doesn't (or, at least not in this area, since it's mostly commercial). The trains pass right by the building and we have yet to adjust to the constant noise and shaking when they pass by at night. They don't just blow the whistle once, they blow it and hold onto it, or blow it multiple times. I am a heavy sleeper by nature (my husband isn't) but even I can't seem to adjust to the trains. I really wish management would have given us the heads up on the trains when we were looking at the apartment. Too late now. I'd like to respond to Duane's comments re: pets: Some pet owners are considerate, others aren't. In all honesty, Duane wrote his review after just a couple of months or so of being here. Now, just a few short months later, the hallways stink of dog urine/fecies and smoke. The elevators and hallway carpets are stained (the elevators are a bit slow, and some pet owners fail to plan to take that into account ahead when they take their pets out). I'm quite skeptical of Duane's review...."The owners....see this as a long term investment"....quite frankly, no one has met the owners so I really don't know how you can comment on someone you don't know. Duane seems to complain about the dishwasher in his old place but has no complaints about the one here (ours does a horrible job). Duane's probably just happy being out of his old apartment. Anyway, back to our review. Some pet owners will leave their dogs on their balconies letting them bark all day (and night). We constantly hear the dogs in the hallway barking. If the trains don't wake you, the dogs most certainly will. We would be amiss if we forgot to comment on the noise from people going to and from the movie theater. When school was out, it seemed that every night you would hear rice rockets passing by at 1am or later. I thought the last movies got out not later than 1am but we hear stuff much later than that. Now that there's school, the noise seems to be confined to the weekends. Seriously, do high school kids not have mufflers on their cars? We should also warn you about the resident with the yellow bullet bike (I believe he is in building B, the middle building but I could be wrong). We've been woken up multiple nights by him revving and re-revving his bike. Not only at 11pm or 12, but 3 or 4am. He just sits there in the parking lot for like 30-40 minutes revving. I don't know who he's trying to impress. Inside, the walls are thin, so you can pretty much hear everything your neighbors are doing, and I mean EVERYTHING! Parking is a mess. You get one parking spot. If you like it, great. You would think that your car would be somewhat close to your building, but that isn't always the case. They should give you one parking pass per apartment and let you park anywhere on the lot. If you have more than 1 car: my husband has to park in the movie theater lot since you only get one parking pass. (Forget parking your extra car in the movie theater lot on the weekends....too full. The visitor lot on-site is ALWAYS full, no matter the day or time. Count on street parking and hope you don't get towed). read more

Penny pinchers. We paid rent in full for the month of August. We then got a notice that we owed 9 cents. We tried to pay the 9 cents in cash, they declined and said they do not accept cash. So the only other payment method was checks. I will not write out a check for 9 cents. The check is worth more than 9 cents. Factor in the paper that they used to create the document and the man power to process the notice. This is ridiculous Horrible Management Period. Kailey Youngs was arguing with me on the phone for about 45 minutes. We had left the apartment in very good standing. We actually left it in better condition then we got the apartment. They told us that maintenance needed to repaint the entire apartment and it would cost $200. There were some holes in the walls from paintings that were hung up but the whole apartment did not need to be repainted. Also they said that the carpet needed to be shampooed which is ridiculous. The main living room maybe but the rest of the apartment, no. That also cost me another $200. You will have no say when you leave the apartment on what charges they charge you. I then had to owe them $100 more on top of the deposit of $400. These people are scammers and I will let everyone know NOT to live in these apartments. If I can deter one person from living here then I have accomplished my goal. Don't be a fool like I was. It looks great on the outside but on the inside it is not good. read more

We lived here for 1 year and 9 months, the apartment we moved into was clean. Management is terrible, they either don't fix problems brought to there attention take forever to do so. Tenants do not pick up after their animals, there is garbage everywhere around the dumpsters also. They gave our deposit back promptly but cut it in half without any explanation even though we left our apartment in excellent condition. They said our little puppies barked all night long, yet we were there asleep with our puppies at night and I think I would have heard them barking, even though one is a mute and the other never barks because she never does. So bottom line is they don't take care of their grounds, they are a pain in the ass to deal with, and they rob you. Plain and simple. read more

To start off this is our first apartment that we have ever lived in. Also, it will probably be our last since we had such a bad experience. 1. There was no water pressure throughout the apartment and we were told there was nothing they could do about it. 2.The water took forever to get hot. I mean like 5 minutes. The amount of water that we wasted on waiting on it to warm up could have kept California from burning. 3. They pay someone to clean the halls, stairwells, and trash chutes but they don't. The stairwell was never cleaned within the whole year that we lived there. Also, it always smelled like animal feces throughout the halls. 4. Our Apartment (B301) has holes in under the laminate flooring. When they were repairing the floor they didn't do it correctly so the floor still sinks when stepping where the holes were. 5. We asked on two different occasions for them to fix our dishwasher and they never did. Therefore we didn't really use the dishwasher. 6.The bathtubs sounded like they were going to fall through we standing in the to take a shower. 7.The living rooms lights would periodically throughout the day make a loud buzzing noise when someone would walk across the floor upstairs. 8. You only get one parking spot and you have to pay 14 dollars a month for it. If you have a second car you are pretty much screwed because there is nowhere to park it. 9. Throughout your lease they will try to harass you with extra charges. 10. If you ask them for a reciept for paying rent they will tell you that they don't give receipts to people. Thus, not giving you a way to have proof that you paid it. 11.The internet that you have to pay for it really bad. You might as well not even have internet. You don't have a choice to not pay it. It cost you 120 for internet and cable. 12. Sometimes the key fobs wouldn't work so you wouldn't be able to get into your apartment unless someone from the inside let you in. 13.There was no consistency when it came to the apartment managers. We had three different managers in one year. 14. The biggest issue. We didn't have hot water for 4 days straight. We called on a Monday, maintenance came out and reset the hot water heater and said to wait about an hour for the hot water to work. It never got hot. Then, we called the next and was told we would need a new hot water heater but it wouldn't be in until the next day (Wednesday). The hot water heater finally arrived around 2 p.m. on Wednesday. It wasn't installed until after 3 p.m. when they told us they couldn't hook it up without a licensed plumber, which could be done until the next day (Thursday). So on Thursday, The plumber didn't show up until after 9:30 a.m. We the has no water pressure at all in the kitchen sink. They didn't even walk around the apartment themselves to check to see if the faucets were even working. The maintenance guys worked on the water pressure for over an hour where they got it to work slightly better and was told by the manager to just leave it like that. Common sense says to check the faucets to make sure they are functioning correctly. Needless to say they are not good when it come to taking care of maintenance. Also, they didn't try to help with us getting hot showers or providing us a means to wash our dishes so that we could cook. Neither did they try to help out with the larger water bill from where they were running it constantly throughout try to figure out the water issues. I have a family including a child under a year old and they didn't even care. 15. Lastly, there was a time where they evacuated everyone in the apartments for a whole day. They didn't give my wife a chance to get the baby ready. So my wife and baby couldn't get in the apartment till about 7 p.m. She had to go baby food, diapers, wipes, and etc.. just to take care of our baby. This apartment complex has some seriour issues and priorites that they need to work out. read more

Please, please, PLEASE do not rent an apartment from here! These "luxury" apartments are anything but luxurious. They give you an "awesome" price, then they add an extra $200+ in monthly fees. The management staff is very rude, they constantly charge you for things you don't have, (like a storage unit you never signed up for) and they will lose your rent check and give you a pay or vacate notice. I seriously handed one of the ladies in the front office my rent check the second month I lived there, the girl lost it and I got served a pay or vacate notice. The grass was dead and the air conditioning in the hallway was leaking into the wall. The tenants also never picked up after their pets and management did nothing about it! This place will nickel and dime the hell out of you for a horrible apartment with vinyl flooring and paper thin walls. So happy I moved! The only pro: the location was close to things in Centerville and right by the Megaplex. read more

We still give Legacy Crossing 4 stars because of the parking. Building D is now complete so no more apartment construction. Most of the bugs have been worked out but they still have hiccups now and then. Parking is still a problem but most are dealing with it. Some tennants are complaining about the secured access key fobs because they have to go let family and friends in. All I can say is you need the exercise so go let them in. One of the reasons we live their is because of the secured access knowing that we won't have to worry about people roaming around in the building that don't belong their. We have lived all over the Western US and Legacy is in the top 3. All the management does their job very well. Sometimes you hear people and their pets but most times it is people just living their lives. The apartments are really nice along with the pool and grounds. The only negative I can really say is when the tennants have friends and family over they don't tell them to park in the theater parking and their guests park in the covered parking which we tennants pay for and then they get upset when you tell them to move their cars. There are cheaper places to live in the Centerville/Bountiful area.... just remember you get what you pay for. :) read more

Don't EVER rent at this complex. They will nickel and dime you for every little thing, but then when something is THEIR fault, they won't even bother to give you the time of day about it. When we moved in, our floors were filthy, the floorboards were warped and bubbling, the cabinets were protruding from their places, they left black, sticky, tar-like substance on our floors and I let them know all of these things and they didn't do a single thing about it. While we were there, the interactions with the girls in the office was HORRIBLE. They don't care about you, or the complex, they just care about getting a paycheck. While we were living there, we rented a storage unit and they sent around a paper asking everyone who has a storage unit to write down they unit number and their storage unit number... Um... Since you're the ones who helped us with that and gave us the storage unit key... Shouldn't you already know that? This place is very unprofessional and very unorganized. Then when we moved out, I busted my butt to clean the apartment from top to bottom and they still came up with ridiculous fees so now we OWE THEM money. How does that work? We paid you a deposit, but we still owe you money. They will screw you over at any chance they get. I read all of the reviews online prior to moving in and I didn't listen or thought it wouldn't happen to me, but IT DOES. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Even if you are in a time crunch like we were (less than a week to move) don't do it. It will leave you stressed and unhappy. read more
