A friend has been going to Dan's for years and is a member of their Rocky Patel lounge. I knew he holds court on game day and finally decided to check the place out. Friendly staff, customers, comfortable seating, great cigar selection at fair prices... all the signs of a great house. Dan's has been around 23 years (I had no idea) and is a must if you're on the east side looking for a great spot to "make cigars disappear." You cannot go wrong with Dan's!

The place is small and parking is tight so my group came early and were able to get a nice spot to eat. The cover is $25 and it's an all you can eat buffet with mimosas and sangria included. Food was good and there was a good variety of items. I was annoyed that they had curry chicken out on the buffet but wouldn't serve it until 2 hours into brunch. Why have it out if you not ready to serve it? Anyway, the party atmosphere is what won me over. The DJ was everything. By the time we left brunch, it was the beginning of the day party and we were so lit. Sugar Ray's is definitely somewhere I would do brunch again.

I'd like to side on the positive. When my cousin arrived, we stored my controversial satchel in the boot of the vehicle and ventured in. The host seated us next to another trio and we shared the low slung table for hookah paraphernalia and drinks. "This place is BYOB". The do have cups of ice in the back. And an assortment of juices, sodas, and teas to cut the alcohol you bring. I enjoyed the music. Hip hop mostly, and very very very loud. Lots of stripper hip-hop the kids are producing these days. There was a few huge TVs in our area as well broadcasting the Lakers beating Golden State in the final quarter. The hats must go off to the waitresses working the hookahs. They were always in the area, checking on progress. Don't be thrown off by the 4 stars. I'm 50, so I'd only come back here if my family decided to. The music and scene isn't classic hip-hop or R&B from the 80s and 90s.

If you are seeing a show a drink and maybe dessert is all you should rely on them for. I gave this three stars just so people might actually see this. The food and drink was good (I wish I had more than 5 minutes to eat it) I had a reservation at 6. My ride share was slow so I arrived at 6:18. Stood at the host counter for 10 minutes. Was seated without a menu. When they did come to take my order I ordered immediately knowing I needed to be across the street for a show. At 7:00 I asked if I was getting my drink. Drink came at 7:07 was assured my food would be there in 5 minutes. 7:22 it arrived. Mind you show was at 7:30. I wish I could say arriving at 6 would help but two other tables had done that and they were also begging for urgency. I've seen shows in many cities and I have never encountered a restaurant that has no clue how to staff for a theater crowd. So incredibly disappointed.
