This is five years above grade level. This is due to the Montessori Method. I can't say enough about how this school has helped my grandson. Marci's team was absolutely amazing and provided such excellent care it was heartbreaking to leave due to relocation. All the staff was sad to see him go but was very supportive. they were all very hands on and believed in educating all children at their pace. we thank you all for your support and taking care of our child so well. it will be a challenge to find a new area after all these amazing and wonderful people. Other staff without proper training were left alone in classrooms, and all of the directors are white Americans--there's no Hispanic representation anymore. When I pick them up, they come to the car smiling and happy. On the first day of school, my 5-year-old son said, "It's awesome, I love this school!" He continues to tell me how much fun he has in TK and how nice the kids are. He has always been skeptical about God, but that's definitely chagning. He is getting a strong Biblical education. They pray multiple times a day, go to chapel, have Bible lessons, etc. The other day, we saw a beautiful sunrise. He said, "Jesus made that for us." And at dinner the other night, he said he has Jesus in his heart! The teachers and staff have been amazing. It seems like most of the staff has worked at this school for many years. They have smiles on their faces, dress nicely, hair done, makeup on... You can tell they genuinely want to be there! Sugar Hill Weekday Preschool is fully staffed like a real school with a director; assistant director-operations; assistant director-admissions; registrar; school nurse; multiple assistants; music & movement teacher; STEAM teacher; and Spanish teacher. ...Not to mention, all the wonderful, loving classroom teachers and assistant teachers. We get a letter from the nurse anytime there's a confirmed illness, or even if our child bumps his head or gets a cut and requires a band-aid. The level of organization has been very impressive. They have signs and tags for everything with each child's name and number (backpack tags, lunchbox tags, car tags, name tags for the beginning of school, etc.). The facility itself is spotless. Custodians are constantly coming in classrooms when children are away to empty trashcans and wipe things down. This particular private pre-school also receives services with Gwinnett County Bright from the Start (special ed services). Some private pre-schools do not qualify to have special ed staff from the county in the classrooms. This is definitely worth considering if your child might have any developmental delays, speech delays, etc. Everyone we've talked to who has had students go from SHWP to Buford Kindergarten have said their children have been extremely well prepared for kindergarten. We can't recommend this school enough!

We thoroughly researched and toured several schools before enrolling her at THMS in April 2023. Mr. Amir, the former owner, was a great leader. Ms. Shireen, the current head of school, is equally wonderful. Despite facing challenges like every organization, the school has experienced positive transformations. Ms. Shireen, Ms. Uzma, and the incredible teachers have prepared our children for kindergarten. There's been an increase in open communication, and more visibility into the curriculum. The school offers fun activities during school hours and some after, and they always include parents and families whenever possible. Our daughter has cherished every teacher, including her afternoon teachers during the extended day program. We haven't experienced any harsh treatment, thankfully. While it's understandable that we might pick her up sweaty from the playground due to Georgia's hot weather, I don't expect teachers to keep all the kids' shirts tucked in or wipe their faces constantly. If that's the case, I'd provide face wipes and leave a note for the afternoon teachers. We've also never picked her up wet because they always help change her if she has an accident, even if she spills water on her shirt! We provide change of clothes and they bag up the wet clothes for us. I deeply respect Ms. Shireen's challenging job. She remains positive and I always see her at school with a smile on her face. Montessori philosophy doesn't sugarcoat developmental truths, and Ms. Shireen and the teachers must tell parents where their kids truly are. They spend upwards of 40 hours per week with them, unlike many of us. I appreciate their hard work and am excited to see what our daughter learns in the next two years.

I would not recommend Tomorrow's Hope Montessori School in Suwanee. My experience there as a parent…read morehas been extremely disappointing and concerning. The way the staff treats the children is far from nurturing or aligned with the Montessori philosophy. During my daughter's time there, we noticed multiple red flags. She would often come home with her clothes soaked or improperly dressed after using the bathroom -- shirts not tucked in, pants half pulled up -- showing clear signs of carelessness. Her face was frequently red when we picked her up. At first, we assumed it was from face paint or playing, but after reviewing camera footage, we realized it was actually from how harshly the teachers were wiping her face. This is completely unacceptable. The food handling practices are also alarming. I personally witnessed a teacher carry five chicken nuggets from the kitchen to the classroom in her hands, even though she was wearing gloves -- no plate, no tray. When serving the food, it was literally tossed onto the children's plates with no care or kindness. Most upsetting of all is the teachers' overall tone and treatment of the kids. The environment is cold and impatient. I witnessed one incident where a child was crying loudly during mealtime, and the teacher yelled at him, grabbed him, and forced him to sit on the floor simply because he was playing with his chair. That is not how any child should be treated, especially not in a school that claims to follow Montessori values. Considering how expensive this school is, the lack of care and compassion is unacceptable. We were willing to sacrifice our hard-earned money for what we believed would be a safe, nurturing, Montessori-style environment. Sadly, what we experienced was the complete opposite. When I brought all of this to the attention of the school director, Shireen Ali, and we reviewed the camera footage, she showed zero empathy or concern, even though everything I described was clearly visible on the footage. Her only solution was to transfer my daughter to a different classroom -- nothing more. That's not acceptable. These teachers do not seem properly trained, and honestly, it doesn't appear that anyone on staff is actively monitoring those cameras unless a parent specifically asks. We ultimately withdrew our daughter because we no longer felt safe leaving her in that environment. I'm sharing this so other parents can make an informed decision -- what looks good on the surface at this school can be very different from what actually happens behind the classroom doors.

He could only say a handful of words at 2.5 years old. I was worried, I would hear other children during playdates saying their colors and numbers and I felt my son was behind. Within only a few months of sending him here he speaks full sentences and he has completely transformed into an advanced speaking child. My son does not cry when I drop him off, he is actually excited to go to school and never puts up a fight.

I first want to say that the first year our son attended this Goddard School (August '21-May '22 for Pre-K) went as well as school could. No complaints from us. We loved his Pre-K teacher (Ms. Shunda) and truthfully we couldn't be happier!  Our son was loved by everyone there! With that being said, in the middle of November '22 my wife and I decided to meet with the owner of The Goddard School (Ted Ray) because we started to notice some (negative) changes. We wanted to discuss our worries and concerns we had with our son's kindergarten teacher. We spent an hour discussing all of our concerns. Ted was receptive and assured us he would take our concerns seriously. Some of the issues we brought up were about this teacher's attitude, as well as being unorganized and simply confusing, especially when it came to homework. Also, this teacher missed many, many days to which the kindergarten class (more often than not) would spend the day playing in another classroom. In my opinion the kindergarten teacher seemed burned out. Both my parents were teachers for 40+ years in one of the best school districts in New York, and I was a substitute teacher for almost 8 years myself in a top 5 school district in New York State...so I do know a thing or two. At the end of this meeting Ted assured us he would "take care of it" and would follow up with her, and with us, after the holidays. Fast forward to our second meeting with Ted (1/31/23) and Emily (Director of Education), and the meeting this time carried a completely different, and negative, tone. The reason for this second meeting was a survey that was emailed to the parents that I had filled out truthfully. Up to the point of receiving the survey, we felt nothing had changed. In fact, things were getting worse. Parents even started to talk openly with us about some of the same worries and concerns. This second meeting came about solely because I completed a survey. I always believe in being truthful! The survey, and my honesty, was apparently the straw that broke the camel's back. It was then that Ted and Emily wanted to meet with us. Before the survey there was no mention of a follow-up meeting. From the start of that second meeting I was frustrated and upset as ANY parent would be. Apparently I wasn't allowed to be. Almost immediately Ted started yelling at me and my wife, and ALL decorum that a school owner should show went out the window. Ted stood over us, yelling at us, while calling me a bully when he, in fact, is the bully! There was absolutely no reason why I shouldn't feel comfortable enough to share our frustrations with no change, no follow up, and things seeming worse. My wife and I spent a LOT of money to give our son the best education we could, and to be treated in such a way was completely inexcusable! Ted's only solution was to yell and say to us, "you have two weeks to find your son a new school!!" THAT was his solution! There was no listening, letting me get the concerns off my chest, letting us vent our frustrations, nothing! They took our concerns and worries personally and they overreacted, when in fact they should have listened and understood! We would not feel this way if we didn't have legit concerns. When it comes to what is most important for the students, concerns and worries should be taken seriously, and handled professionally! What is more upsetting is that in our son's class there is another boy who causes trouble, both physical and verbal and is always a distraction, yet that student is still there. That, right there, shows you what this school is truly all about. Beware, the owner will convince you that his school will be the reason your son or daughter will go to Stanford or Harvard, and that the students are ALWALYS put first, when in fact he shows they aren't. On a side note, both classrooms our son was in this year were always messy, cluttered, and unkempt, with the kindergarten teacher leaving the lights off every single day (for reasons unknown). The kindergarten students sit in a dark classroom all day, with masks on, and almost never go outside to run around (which ALL 6 year olds need) during the school day. How is this a positive experience for these students? There is so much more I can share because I truly believe people need to be held accountable, especially when it comes to schooling! I will never back down when it comes to wanting the best for my son! This entire situation was truly sad and unacceptable!
