After reading other yelp reviews I see this is not the first time he added things to his clients bill and was also just a misunderstanding. They did some extra work at no charge, refurbishing tile and fixing a blocked drain. All for 80% of what I expected to spend. Although I am known for 1-star reviews, I give Cape Pool Renovations my highest recommendation and would grant six stars if I could. You will not regret choosing them.

I contacted "Southwest Pools a Pool Centurion Group, LLC Company" (Southwest Pools) in September…read more2025 for a quote for a new pool pump. They sent me a quote for a Pentair IntelliFlo3 pool pump. I contacted them the same day to confirm if this quote is for the 1.5HP or the 3.0HP version. Southwest Pools confirmed that the quote is for the 3.0 HP version. A Southwest Pools technician arrived a week later for the installation. However, the technician did not ring the doorbell, and when I recognized someone on the side of my house, he was already done. The pump did not have some of the features I expected, e.g. wi-fi connectivity, and I asked him to leave me the package of the installed pump. After the technician had left, I recognized that the installed pool pump is a Pentair SuperFlo with 1.5HP (Model 342002) pool pump. This pump is about $500 cheaper than the pump Southwest Pools originally quoted. I called Southwest Pools about the issue and was told they made a mistake, and the quote was actually for the cheaper Pentair SuperFlo 1.5HP pool pump. They sent me the invoice for the second installment payment, still stating they installed the Pentair IntelliFlo3 3HP pool pump, and pretty much told me to "bugger off". So, I would not touch these guys with a 10-foot-long pole.
