You never know what you are going to get from a hotel…read morerestaurant. PrimeTime is a 5 star experience based on its menu and service. Nice atmosphere with many tables. Looks like it might get crowded on weekends or for sporting events. TV's ring the perimeter with lots of choices. We had an excellent Crab Cake BLT with fries and a beautiful piece of Honey Salmon. We ordered the Fresh Rye Bread that hit the spot and finished with good Bread Pudding. Everything was spot on! I have done a review on the College Park Hotel Cambia that houses PrimeTime. It's really a strong 4 **** or 5***** that some have rated a 3 ***. We will stay here again thane next time we visit Bethesda. We will also explore the PrimeTime menu while staying at Cambria.

She was a ray of sunshine and gave us help in deciding on menu items. We both ordered salads. I ordered the crab and shrimp Louis salad. And, my friend ordered a chicken salad. Our salads were huge, fresh, and delicious. I really liked the fresh veggies and poached shrimp. I also liked the surprise sprinkle of Old Bay on my seafood. I wasn't a fan of the crabmeat. The dressing was delicious too. My friend liked her chicken salad. She did say her chicken was a little dry. But, she loved all of the fresh veggies and ended up taking the leftovers home. I also ordered the Oreo cheesecake which was delicious. I mean come on now, you combine Oreo's and cheesecake, that is a winning combination and the whipped cream was amazing. The restaurant itself was bright, colorful, and full of sea themed decor. The booth was comfortable and you get 3 hours of free parking in the garage. Again, thanks Fatima for your excellent service. We will definitely be back.

We started with the fire cracker shrimp. It came with cucumber slices marinated in vinegar and cilantro. So good! Would have taken this as an entree. And it's GLUTEN FREE! I got the classic burger with gluten free bun because I couldn't figure out what I wanted. But it was great. I had it with the lemon aioli (it's a lemon garlic aioli. Got the green beans on the side. The green beans were just okay. I will pick another side in the future. The kitchen was able to make a fried salmon burger for my friend with fries. She said it was amazing. It was a good portion. We got the sweet tea to drink. It's...Maryland sweet tea lol but it was fine. Middle of the road. The service was great. They are particular about allergies which was amazing. We tried the bread service as a starter. I think the bread had a soft inside texture but too hard on the exterior. 5/10. We tried two of their bar bites: Sautéed shrimp (5/10) and General Tso Chicken Skewers (7/10). I think the shrimp sauce was bland and the chicken was a fried chicken tender + sauce. We had the Chicken Ceasar salad (8/10) and Braised Short ribs (8/10). The salad was a standard salad and the short ribs were tender. I enjoyed the short ribs with the mashed potatoes and substituted the brussel sprouts with broccoli. I think the broccoli could've been seasoned to improve. We both had two of their $10 specialty cocktails. Both were excellent.

The decor was lovely and the ambiance represented an upscale experience in my opinion. They even offered free champagne and it was good! My friend and I tried: the Sticky Ribs Suya, Jerk-Braised Short Ribs with Curry Pea Risotto, Oxtail Mac & Cheese, and the Suya-Spiced Lamb Chops. All of the food was absolutely delicious, my only gripe would be that the lamb chops didn't come with enough green beans. The "Up All Night" (their version of an espresso martini) was also pretty good. Next time, I'd opt to get a traditional espresso martini though. Lastly, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very kind, attentive, and timely. We even left her an extra tip. If I had to make a suggestion, the big ape could be moved elsewhere. It really does take up too much space.

We were going to an outside event, but because the rain and cold we decided to go ahead and try this spot out. And it did not disappoint at all! We did not have a reservation so when we walked in it was packed we were a little worried. But nope we were able to get a table because someone who made reservations didn't come so we were able to slide right on in. We started out with a couple of drinks I believe it was a 1123 punch. It was alright but the drinks I got later made up for that drink not hitting. My boo he ordered the waygu egg rolls and they were fire ok! We also ordered the fried chicken fried deviled and they were so good. Never thought I would like fried deviled eggs. For our entree he ordered the jerk chicken meal and I got the crab risotto, scallops, and spicy broccolini. When I tell you my scallops were so tender and the risotto was so damn cheesy! Lord have mercy! Now to the drinks...so we tried a Hennessy drink can't remember the name was STRONG then my last drink was a nice fruity drink which hit as well. The inside of the restaurant is very much given upscale date night and nice vibes and the DJ was playing those tracks! The only reason I didn't give them 5-stars is the price. They automatically add 20% gratuity and the prices for the food were a little high. But other than those I would love to come back and maybe just sit at the bar during the week day just to see how the vibes are during the week versus the weekend vibes. And how could I forget the complimentary champagne...not a full glass though...lol

And to say it was underwhelming would be an understatement. I mean this experience might have been worse than the season finale of game of thrones. My wife ordered the oxtails and green jollof rice. First off, the rice tasted like wet grass. The oxtail was a sad excuse for oxtail. For context my wife is Caribbean so I've had my share of delicious oxtail, their oxtail tasted like they simply didn't even try. Now let's get to my food. I ordered the simplest thing on the menu the Steak and Frites. I'll give it to them the frites were pretty decent, but that's where my compliments end. I ordered my steak medium like a decent human being. The first steak came out and tasted like what I imagine an old used tire taste like, it was well done by the way. The next steak that came out 20 minutes later although closer to medium was surprisingly worse. It's was extremely rubbery with zero flavor. All together I would not recommend. The fact they sell this sad excuse for food is baffling. Sincerely, A concerned customer

Food Highlights We started with the chicken wings in jerk seasoning, and they were a revelation. The seasoning was spot on-bold, authentic, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For the main course, I opted for the "Ribeye Steak". It was tender, juicy, seasoned and full of flavor. The sides were on point too. I also added fried shrimp and a loaded baked potato that was cooked just right and the perfect complement to the steak. I also tried the Boom Boom shrimp that was extra crispy just like I like it and tossed in a spicy sauce that had just the right amount of kick! Everything came out hot and at the perfect temperature that I requested. Drinks & Atmosphere The drink menu is impressive, with a vast choice of beers and ales that would satisfy any craft beer enthusiast.
