After causing damage and abandonment of this contracted job in September 2018, we sought a judgement against him and were awarded $31K in damages and unearned income. It will be likely unrecoverable since the man has no assets and the liability insurance policy, while valid, will not comply unless he acknowledges the claim. Which he wont. As a result, we have had to put out over $56K to repair damages and complete the work of this bogus foundation expert. Burns has several relatives in the area of Bangor Maine, and while he may not be using the name Mainely Foundations any longer because of all recent bad reviews, he may be using family business names. Steer clear of Jeff or Jeffrey or J. Burns from around the Bangor Maine area.
