I ordered 6 pieces of the sake nigiri, and as i got my food, there were so many red flags ringing. First, the rice is wayyy too thick and big for me to put the whole thing in my mouth in one bite - which is generally how you eat sushi. Even splitting the rice and eating half was a mouthful. Besides that, they are very stingy with the salmon and it only so covers a length of the rice to cover the rice's modesty. In addition to that, the fish itself was cut veryyy thin. On the plus side, It didn't give me food poisoning, so i guess i'll give it that. But seeing as the owners aren't japanese (which the czechs don't really care about), i feel that they might have better success if they had actually served their own local cuisine, seeing as they do not know how to make japanese food (there was even one bulgogi dish that they misspelled as "bulogogi"!) i know that i might be nitpicking, but for those looking to eat some decent/good sushi and such, do NOT go here or any sushi place in CB as they will more or less taste the same; just bland.

The quality of the food is incredible, we have been to different provinces in China and can attest that the quality of this restaurant exceeds all expectations and standards :-) the ingredients are of highest quality, everything is cooked from scratch and the taste is authentic like nothing we ever found in Europe. It is our favorite restaurant for the whole family, staff are super nice and attentive. Please try out their HOT POT, which is an amazing option and try the desserts - so delicious ! Currently, you reserve a spot by prepaying for a ticket (good for one bowl of noodles) on their website for a specified date. Right now they're running one main dish, HK clear soup beef brisket noodles, with the option to add fried fish skin, choi sum or extra noodles. I'd definitely recommend adding all three, especially the fried fish skin! Okay, on to the food. The noodles were cooked to perfect al dente and had good chew. The beef was great quality and came in two thick slabs. The best part, though, was definitely the fish skin. Light, crispy and super delicious. I've managed to stumble upon fried fish skin only once previously in London, and it was as a complimentary bar snack at Texture. Hopefully Bosslady continues to operating and expand their offerings, as I have to admit that beef brisket noodles aren't my go-to. My selfish wants would like to see them continue down the fish skin path and offer other random fish add-ons: fish balls, fish cake and fish skin dumplings (潮州魚餃). One last thing. I really enjoyed the plastic yellow bowl that the noodles came in, but Bosslady needs to complete the HK noodle stall feel and serve the lemon tea in tall translucent plastic cups with thin round slices of lemon!

To be succinct, the food was super delicious. Menu is super small which I liked. The Beef and Radish was superior in my mind, very clean and no too dissimilar to Pho. The beef was super tender and the noodles were unlike the ones I'm use to. Laksa was a bit spicy for my usual taste but still incredible. Homemade wontons were pockets of joy and great when accompanied with the molten red liquid homemade chilli oil. A very cosy and tiny little spot which was very intimate and super cute. Although I didn't catch his name, the chef /owner was so lovely and played Womack and Womack amongst other great tunes. So if you can find it, GO THERE. Great value, great food. Great, great, great.
