We have…read morean 80 year old house that needed ceilings re-done, hardwoods refinished, as well as painting. Ronny and his team have been REMARKABLE. The work has been done very well and as we agreed upon. If there were issues (and I knew there were bound to be because of the age of the house), I was kept informed and offered solutions in a win/win manner. The hardwood floors are so beautiful I literally teared up when I saw them. This is my grandparent's house and it has irreplaceable sentimental value. The Mountain Brothers Team have literally exceeded every expectation so far. Given the ease of doing business and quality of their work, I suspect Mountain Brothers Construction will be spending more time working in our home!!! I will return to post before and after pictures when we have completed everything.

I was very impressed when I first met Jeff and Sam for an initial meeting to discuss projects I…read moreneeded done on my home. I chose this company over a few other general contractors I had met and received estimates for. Jeff and Sam were very thorough and answered all my questions. As a mother of two Veteran sons and Grandson with multiple tours of duty between them, I wanted to support this company as it is a Veteran owned and operated company. I have had three home projects completed by them in the past 2 1/2 months and am very happy with the results! Sam was great on following up during each project and was always available if I had any questions. I love the new French Doors that Brian and Alex installed! Also love the new vinyl plank kitchen floor installed from USA Flooring that Omniverus subcontracts with! I highly recommend Omniverus General Contractors based in Winston Salem on Cherry St! Looking forward to getting a few more projects completed by them in the next few months! Very professional company with great value and work ethic!

I hired Jerry a few months ago to remodel the bathroom for my parents. They needed a more…read moreaccessible bathroom that was safer and easier to use. This was NOT a normal job. I lived more than 2 1/2 hours away, interviewed him over the phone, checked his references, sent him pictures of the project concept, and then he went to meet with my parents. They were, to say the least, reluctant recipients of the remodel. Jerry had to navigate between often divergent demands of two daughters (my sister and I) and the inhabitants of the house who were pretty sure they didn't need anything new. He did a fabulous job! We could not be happier with how he navigated a challenging situation and produced a terrific end result. The bathroom meets all their needs, stayed within his proposed budget despite a myriad of issues arising from old pipes. He was great, and I highly recommend him. To find an honest person who shows up, does what they said they would do, and doesn't try to nickle and dime you, is a true treasure.

Surprise! Paul Davis was paid the money they were owed by the people who owed them the money and…read morethat wasn't me. Paul Davis bothered to work as diligently to collect money from the insurance as hard as they worked on making preparations to sue me, they may have been able to do what I did. I'm responsible for Paul Davis getting the money they so ineptly did not acquire a contract in writing when accepting a verbal "yes" from the manager of my insurance. claim! You're welcome Paul Davis.... And thank you for the threats, the holding hostage of my property, and the horrible communication of your intent that you would hold me responsible for your employee getting my home without proper documentation to do so. Then, holding me responsible for not getting that proper documentation and sending me notification of having to pay a bill that the insurance was supposed to have approved per all the text you sent me, which is the only reason I said OK. However, I'm still left in my predicament because my home is gutted, I'm still having to deal with the horrible insurance company. My choice of insurance companies is not anyone's fault but my own; however, I would rather have a place to live in a pot to pee in rather than me stuck homeless like I'm gonna be and I do fully blame this company for being in my situation. Thank God, I was able to stop their lawsuit since I was able to get WSOC TV channel 9's investigative reporter to help me in getting those funds for Paul Davis since their employees don't know how to get appropriate documentation prior to gutting someone's home, or at least my home! I will be getting my storage out of their control as soon as possible. Through this, I learned that they we're going to have me pay to have my storage returned to me, but didn't bother to let me know. It had already been paid for them to bring my storage to me or so it appears in the estimates I read through after educating myself extensively on this entire process. I really don't appreciate feeling as though things have not been provided to me in honesty and that is how I am left in complete understanding unfortunately!
