We wanted to reconfigure our kitchen floor plan to relocate our refrigerator, expand existing kitchen cabinetry, and replace an oversized, oddball island. The original cabinet maker had gone out of business, so in 2021 a three year search began. We contacted over 50 cabinet companies and contractors throughout the Panhandle up into Alabama, the majority of which frankly told us they couldn't match what we had. Only four submitted bids and thankfully J. Wade was one of them! He also suggested enhanced panels for framing our fridge and the island plus a unique corner base cabinet to make it more practical for access. I'm not very good with pictures; hopefully the "before's and after's" will speak for themselves. He did such a wonderful job that you can't tell where the 'old' cabinets end and his new ones begin and we are delighted beyond words! The literal 'icing on the cake' was the new crown molding he replaced above all the cabinets; such a beautiful final touch! He is a genuine craftsman!

Now living in the Tampa Bay Area, the day after Hurricane Helene, I was removing yard debris,…read morefurniture, and equipment that was damaged by the storm surge. I noticed Cat 5 Construct was already clearing the house across the street and was preparing to demolish the damaged part of the interior. Jimmy Villani, the owner and operator saw me and came over to talk and offer me his business card. He took the time to walk through my house and give an initial assessment and offered advice of what I needed to do to help mitigate further damage. He left saying if I needed his help, give him a call. Three weeks later, the FEMA appraisers came to document all the damage. They found evidence of potential black mold and advised immediate action. The next day I called Jimmy, and he came by within the hour to take a closer look at our house. He hoped that the mold was confined to only a couple of areas, but would need to get a crew in to remove the damaged floor and make a better assessment. He gave me a reasonable estimate for removing the floor and opening the wall where there was potential mold. The crew came a day later and was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. They had completed the job within 7 hours, leaving the house clean and sanitized. There was mold detected behind the wall, so Jimmy will have a mitigation come out to measure dampness and see what addition action is needed. Obviously more to come, but I can't speak highly enough for the great service, quick response, kind and caring service from Jimmy and his crew, and the professional job done so far!
