Best shoe makers and tailor in the area. Great service! Beautiful people. I fixed a pair of boots and tailored jeans. Very nice.

I was in the neighborhood and needed a quick shoe shine. I walked in and met Abraham, the owner,…read morewho said his father worked at the shop before him. He quickly polished my shoes and they sparkled for $6. I'd try them again. Street parking available. I took a tall sandal that needed a zipper replacement and was quoted $35 for one zipper. My husbands shoes needed the sole to be reinforced and he recommended new heels - $45. I left my husbands shoes and took my sandal. We stopped at the shoe repair on Jamaica ave and 114 St. to get a quote for my sandal. The owner was extremely kind and informative. He recommended a stopper for the zipper instead of replacing the zipper and heel lifts to protect the leather on the back of the sandal. Repairing both sandals with stoppers and small new wedge heel - $15. I asked how much to replace the whole zipper - $12 each sandal. I went back to Lefferts Blvd to pick up my husbands shoes and he had already glued the sole. I told him I didn't want anything else done and he charged me $10 for glue. We took the shoes to the Jamaica Ave repair shop and he cleaned up what the other didn't finish and shined the shoes - nothing else was needed...$5. DON'T GO TO THIS SHOE REPAIR!!! HE IS A THIEF AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF!!!
