My husband and I hired C323 to remodel our kitchen. It was to be a very simple design with nothing…read moremore than replacing the cabinets and countertops along with a simple backsplash. The cabinets were to be shaker. He bought something other than shaker. I actually let that slide. He had his guys install the cabinets before painting them. They were a disaster, long gaps, the cabinets were uneven, there would have been a 5-inch space on one side of the stove, it was all bad. I had Fabian (owner/contractor) come take a look. He removed all upper and lower cabinets and started over. This time he filled the gaps with glue and silicone as well as putting caulk in a couple holes in the walls. They drilled nails down into the floor! He then repainted the cabinets and made it even worse. I never saw Fabian or his crew again. A couple of his family members showed up, one supposedly an assistant. These ladies took a look and committed to getting it all fixed. Well, that hasn't gone so well either. My husband had to remove all of the cabinets. While removing one screw water started spewing out of a pipe that the guys had drilled into. The ladys brought in a man to rehang the 2nd set of new cabinets, this time shaker. When he was done the cabinets started with a top gap of zero and by the time he got them all hung there was a 1"+ gap on the last one. Again, the cabinets were removed and rehung. Better this time. The bottom cabinets have wasted large space in the corners because of this being an older home we could not get lazy-Susan cabinets. I again went with it. They put a blank in the front of one corner to close the gap, which looks great. The second corner they did not finish. Promised to be back to finish cabinet prep before the countertop was to be installed. The countertop will be installed tomorrow on top of incomplete cabinets. The backsplash will not be installed until I find someone to do the backerboard over the sink and stove because that has been left undone. I was quoted 9000.00 for this job. I paid a deposit of 7000.00. I have since spent another $5901.31 for the lower cabinets and countertops. I will be spending even more backsplash tile and materials since I actually had to change my whole design to get the countertops finally installed (not realizing that the cabinets would be left in bad shape). This whole job has been a nightmare. I was quoted 5 days for this job. It has been ongoing for 2 months. I kept hanging on to the false promises of the family members to make this right after Fabian vanished. I would never recommend this contractor to anyone. The work is sub-par, several lies told along the way, they abandoned the job and took us for our money. To be honest I could tell so much more about the issues but I think I have given enough detail to get my point across.
