Mikelle from 383 Design Studio is an absolute gem…read more I took a private, online course with her because I figured why would I pay a CAD Studio $175 per project when I could learn how to do it myself, from 383DS for $50 an hour? As the saying goes: "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for life." Well Mikelle taught this lady how to fish. I think it helps to know that I know the basics of Photoshop and next to nothing about Illustrator and she was still of immense help to me in guiding me through the work I needed to accomplish. Not everyone who knows something can excel at teaching it but Mikelle is excellent. I would not hesitate to use 383 Design in the future.

Not only did he cover a great deal of material in a short period, he tailored the training to the specific needs that we presented him with. More than anything else however was the great way that he showed how to use the product in our workflow, adapting his course material to any situation or scenario we presented him with. He was easy to follow, enthusiastic and entertaining. Great course! Great instructor! The facilities were very nice as well. We worked on very speedy and up-to-date Macs. All of the support staff we met were very friendly and helpful. I've been back at work using the training for over a month now and I couldn't be happier with the results and my experience at FMC.

The instructors were all top notch, the class sizes were small enough so the instructors could give each student personal attention if needed, everything I learned there was exactly what I wanted to learn, and directly applicable to what I was doing. Not only is the learning environment there excellent but so is the support staff that helps to facilitate that learning. There were a few times, because of work, that I had to change my schedule and the staff there were always helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I very highly recommend FMC to anyone who is seriously looking to improve their technical skills.

I'm so glad I found Erfun. After going through another tutor I found on Yelp, doing all the…read morehomework assignments and all the practice tests, I still couldn't hit my target of 163 in Quant. It was extremely frustrating, especially because I majored in Physics and always considered myself a math person! But Erfun soon showed me that my issue wasn't my math knowledge, per se, but how I was thinking about the questions. Erfun has an incredible understanding of the skills the GRE tests, the different approaches for looking at questions, and the traps and shortcuts you should pay attention to. On top of all that, he's EXTREMELY organized. He assigned day-by-day homework, provided screenshots of important questions and their notes, and was always prepared for whatever we were covering at the session. And, on top of all that, he's just a really nice guy :) A couple things to point out: 1) He's pricier than the other tutors out there, but you get what you pay for. He has a perfect score, over a decade of experience doing this full-time, and he wrote a 500+ page book for McGraw Hill! In my mind, the extra money was worth the time he saved me in studying for this damn test! 2) We did a lot of our tutoring online, and I was shocked at the effectiveness of these sessions. So, if you have a busy job like me, online tutoring might make sense. Oh, and after 10 hours of tutoring, my score improved from Q156 to Q164 :) I'm applying to MBA programs for round 1 and couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.
