La'Petite Belvedere Campus…read more From February 2025 to March 2025 my child was inflicted with pain by other toddlers. Two of these toddlers bit my child in the face directly under the left eye. The other bite was to the right cheek. The Director at the time was Ms.Tynesha R, Assistant Director Ms. Rocky, Teacher-Diamond and the rest of their team was all complicit. They all knew what was going on and they omitted-refused to provide safety for my child. Safety, should have met to remove the child who was biting in order to protect the rest of the children. But this never happened, the child remained in the same classroom as my 11 month old. Three bites to the face in a one month span is complicity at best. One may ask, "Where were the teachers, when my child was being bit multiply times." Answer, they were not being observant with monitoring the children. The ratio is suppose to be 1:3 kids. La'Petite has video with no audio so parents and family's can view their child's daily activities. Yes, our family witness the children who bit our child on camera however, the Director-Ms Ross chose to deny as to what we clearly saw with our own eyes. We explained to the Director that taken her to the doctors to be checked out was advisable, since the bite was under the eye... Ms. Ross saw that as to be an unnecessary task. This is just one photo but we have more of the two other bites. My child was only 11 months old with no teeth in her mouth when this photo was taken. The final bite to our child's face was on March 14, 2025. This was the date of her first Birthday Party. Our child celebrated her first birthday with another bite to the face directly under the same left eye. At this point, we as a family had no choice but to remove-change providers to protect our child from further ongoing trauma. The date is clear, along with the location so denial from this establishment would be pointless. We as a family was devastated as to what we witnessed. We informed the Director that we were changing providers due to safety and staff complicity at this daycare center. We informed in writing the district manager as to what was taken place at "La'Petite Belvedere." On March 28, 2025 we received an email stating, Director-Ms. Tynesha R was no longer working for La'Petite. I'm sure complaints from other family's reached the district managers office as well. Along with safety concerns of all the children, it was staff shortages. On the Sprout About App-La'Petite would post many times after 8:30am when family's were already in route to take their children to daycare, "we cannot accept anymore infants and toddlers." So family's had to scramble to find daycare in order for them to go to work, at the last minute. The teachers were also cooks. They were responsible for teaching the children, protecting the children, watching the children and cooking the children's food due to short staffing. The cost to provide care of our child at this La'Petite Daycare was approximately $700 a week. We thought our child would be safe, protected and supported, unfortunately this was not so. Our goal is to try and save as many families as we can from the trauma and pain our toddler experienced. Please, read this honest review and think really hard about choosing La'Petite for your child's daycare. Thank you, the family A. Wilson-father T. Wilson-mother L. Wilson-grandmother

The staff will then inform you about the things she is saying. As a parent of a kid who was enrolled there, the state of this daycare is concerning. The lack of care and respect that is given to the kids is horrific. As soon as you voice your concerns as a parent the director gets snippy and it is taken out on your child. There is a ton of turnover, and not enough staff to really care for the kids. As a parent who had a kid there- all I can say is RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

I was immediately overwhelmed by the love and craft in the classroom. I had the opportunity to tour…read morethe school very last minute after my husband a few days prior toured and said this school is special. I didn't realize how special until I saw it in person. Alice's true authentic Montessori school was warm and inviting. Unfortunately due to distance from us we decided may not be the best fit, but assure any parent her attention to detail and sections for children to focus on math, cursive, and art was nothing less than a beautiful display. The children are able to water flowers and do arrangements, have access to beautiful grounds and nature. Highly recommend and if location / travel time from where we live in Columbia was more feasible would have enrolled our daughter. A must for any parent looking for AMI teaching!!!

Finding that all together is hard, but also so important. My toddler loves and is benefiting from practical life work, and so needs the grace and courtesy and independence that great Montessori primary programs can foster. I'm so, so grateful that Apple Ridge and Ms. Alice are here for him.
