I am leaving this review because of serious concerns regarding my son's care while attending Leaps and Bounds. On August 19, 2026, the manager contacted me because my son had been crying for most of the morning. After I picked him up early, I discovered an unexplained mark on his wrist. I took him to Children's Hospital, where the injury was documented as an abrasion. The physician advised me that the mark could be consistent with a pinch, although they could not determine how it occurred. I reported my concerns to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and Child Care Licensing and ultimately withdrew my son from the facility. I am sharing this experience so other parents are aware. read more

My 3 year old has a hard time transitioning to new environments and people so when it came time to start here I was really nervous since his last day care he had such a hard time.. it took him all but 3 days to get into motion here at this school. Ms. Tonya is absolutely incredible my son loves ms Megan and ms Cindy. They do so many fun and educational things with the children. I could not be any more happier and so glad I found leaps and bounds. For the services they provide and for what they charge is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. Thank you to the entire staff for being so good to my Luxx read more

Leaps and Bounds - What he made me for Mother's Day - Child Care & Day Care Near Me - La Puente, California

I moved from Texas to California and my husband and I had been diligently looking for a daycare for our 3 year old son. The staff at Leaps and Bounds made our move and transition so easy; our son acclimated quickly to his new daycare in La Puente! He is a very shy child, but after his first week at Leaps and Bounds, he would ask me when he was going back to school again because he loves it! The staff also uses the Procare app and are very communicative of upcoming events, and also posts photos of my son every now and then; I love seeing what my child is up to whether that is coloring, playing in the playground, or dancing with his classmates. The pricing is great too; one of the more affordable daycare options around. I love that they have different schedule options to choose from (example: my child is enrolled Mon-Thursday, since I'm off on Fridays and can watch him then.) Appreciate their kindness and flexibility! read more

We found this place several months ago, and I'm so glad we did. This place is amazing and my kiddo LOVES IT. The teachers and staff are so caring and nice, I love all the updates they give me. I love that she loves learning and this place offers her everything she needs, she goes in happy and comes home happy. I couldn't ask for a better daycare and feel safe with my kiddo there. read more

As working parents, finding the right childcare is crucial. Leaps and Bounds has been an absolutely amazing for our family. Our daughter has attended since she was 4 months old, and we love the care and education she receives. Our daughter is now 3yo, each class has attentive teachers who truly care about each child and go above and beyond for holidays. Miss Lorena, the director, is always available to provide any tips for first time parents, address any concerns and builds a magical culture at the school. Other highlights include daily lunches and they're open outside of major holidays so this has been helpful for us working parents. Leaps n Bounds creates a stimulating environment that fosters learning and growth! It's been fun to witness the creative ways they learn ABCs, Spanish (one of her first words were agua), and numbers. Our daughter has thrived at Leaps n Bounds, and we've seen tremendous development in her social skills, language, cleaning up and learning to be kind. The peace of mind we have knowing she's in good hands while we're at work is priceless. We're so grateful for all you do SHOUTOUT to Miss Lizeth, Miss Ceci, Miss Cindy, Miss Yuleni, Miss Karla, Miss Yadira, Miss Joyce and Miss Edith. Thank you so much! read more

We searched high and low for a quality preschool (daycare) for my granddaughter (and grandson for the summer). I found Leaps and Bounds here on Yelp, and I'm so happy I did! My granddaughter has been enrolled for a year now. She's thriving! The Director, Ms Lorena is wonderful! She's attentive to the parents and the kids, she genuinely cares. She's hands-on, helping where-ever she's needed. I can't say enough about the outstanding teachers! They are so caring and wonderful with the kids. I highly recommend Leaps and Bounds! It's been an absolute God send for us! Thank you ladies from the bottom of my heart! read more

So happy with this preschool/daycare for our 3 year old! We were hesitant because of Covid-19, but our son has been isolated for over a year and he was lonely so we thought we would give this place a try and I'm glad we did! All the staff wear masks and the children do too inside except for meals and nap time. It was our son's first time being away from family and we were worried he would be upset but he was fine! He actually got upset when we came to pick him up! Ms. Lorena is amazing! Very patient, kind and thoughtful! My son had Ms. Joy for a couple weeks but then he caught a cold and was away for a week and she was no longer there and Ms. Amber returned from maternity leave and she seems great too! It's in an odd location, in a plaza parking lot but it's pretty quiet. There's a gate/fence around the facility so it's pretty safe. One negative is on the days that my son has been absent, we still paid the biweekly/monthly tuition fee. It is affordable, our son attends twice a week and it's under $300 a month and they honored the registration deal from the website so that was awesome! They recently had a Mother's Day celebration and it was so nice! My son "made" a poster/card and hand print . I love it! read more

We discovered Leaps & Bound a year ago while on the search for a daycare for our 2 little ones. Our first criteria was location, we needed it close to work. Second criteria was cleaniliness, flowed by our third criteria, the vibes from the staff. The location is perfect is for it is along the way to my job and only 10-15 minutes away so in case of an emergency I won't be too late in arriving. As soon as I walked in the place to check ot out I was struck by how tidy it was and how clean it looked and smelled. Tbis had been my 3rd place I had visited that week, so yes, this yurned out to be something I instantly noticed. The staff, all the staff, are just great! They are friendly and my kids love them! I am so please with Leaps and Bound! The care and attention my little ones receive is the best. Since COVID they also have great safety precautions whivh make us feel at ease in taking our kids. Ms. Lorena, the Director, is absolutely fabulous! She is responsive and quickly communicates as needed. read more

I'm very glad I found this daycare. The registration process was very quick and easy and I also find this place to be very affordable. They offer breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day for the kids which is great! Ms Lorena, Ms Liz, Ms Belen and the rest of the staff here are very kind and friendly. My 1.5 year old son has been here for about a month now and so far it's been wonderful. Ms Belen is very quick to respond when I ask how my son is doing, which gives me peace of mind while at work. I can tell my son is loving daycare and being around his little buddies. He is becoming more social and isn't as shy around others anymore. There is no doubt he will also learn a lot being here since they do fun projects and activities. It's a good way to get them prepared for preschool. 10/10 would recommend this place. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. I simply called to ask about their process of enrollment. Whoever answered,I wish I got her name because she was extremely rude. I asked if they were taking in 4year olds. And then she began to judge me and tell me how he was supposed to be in school already, that I was doing a bad job as a mommy. "Bad job mommy" . She told me she wasn't enrolling and could have just said that without all the judgment on a first time mother. Maybe if I didn't get the rude unnecessary comments esp with the fact my son was 3 and getting potty trained. "Oh that's not good mommy he/she is delayed" FIRST OF ALL, I know as a educator with a Bachelors& Associates degree in Child Development to NEVER say that to a mother. Also just as a mother to show some compassion that children learn at different times. She was trying to instruct me how to take care of my child after her unnecessary comments. Thank God my children never stepped a foot in this disgusting environment. I hung up on her unprofessional conduct immediately. Don't waste your time. read more

I've been bring my girls to leaps and bounds for over 2yrs now. We love the staff and welcoming environment. I feel comfortable knowing that I'm leaving my girls in great hands while I work. Mrs. Lorena and staff work hard to make holiday activities fun and memorable with mother's day dinners, Easter egg hunt, pumpkin patch, Christmas spirit week, and so many more activities. Of course the most important thing to me is that my girls are being taken care of properly and I know they are. I have and will continue to recommend leaps in bounds to any parent that needs child care and/or preschool for their child/ren. read more

My daughter has been at this center for 10 months after she was diagnosed with a speech delay at 24 months. Although, I was a stay at home mom, my husband and I knew she needed an intervention aside from speech therapy to help her advance with her communication and social skills. I came across Leaps and Bounds, where Ms. Lorena the Director was very welcoming and detailed with the program, she answered all my questions and concerns to help my daughter. Ms. Leah, her teacher and the entire staff are very caring, nurturing, and so attentive. My daughter's speech has drastically improved, she's gained a lot of confidence in herself, established friendships and trust with other children and staff. I'm extremely pleased and happy with our decision to have our daughter at this center, the price is reasonable, breakfast and lunch is provided, I highly recommend Leaps and Bounds! read more
