The designs are both elegant, exquisite, formal and fun & bright. A huge selection of colours make this outlet feel like your on a rainbow. My mother loves this store, and the staff are so friendly. They also have a clearance selection if your after a bargain. The prices can be high end especially with the bridal attire, but that doesn't mean a bargain can't be had. It reminded me of watching Strictly Come Dancing! (but no Brucie).

After trying on several prom dresses my daughter finally found the one she 'loved' and was so happy. Whilst paying for the dress I asked the assistant if no one else from her school had bought the same dress and we were assured no one had. However, the assistant did NOT check the order book and low and behold another girl from my daughters school had bought the same dress two days prior! Initially this lead to a barrage of abuse from the other girl and physical threats then we had a call from the shop the next morning saying they were unable to sell us the dress. The one thing that they pride themselves on, they failed miserably! If you do want to buy a prom dress from here, double/triple check no one else has already brought it! I have also noted that Sonique have turned off the reviews function on a lot of review sites, wonder why?!

From saris to god statues to kitchen utensils, these are some of the things you will find at Milans. Although there are some nice saris on sale, I'm not entirely sure whether future brides would buy saris from here. There are other shops on Soho Road that offer more in the way of bridal saris. And to be honest you will find better bridal saris elsewhere. Having said that the saris at Milans are good but not excellent and you might want to buy some saris from here anyway. That's just my view. I did like the god statues and I am into them. The majority are Hindu gods and they are well priced. I haven't actually brought any statues but I might just return here to do so. The shop is pretty clean as you would expect it to be and I may well come back to Milans in the near future.

They sell a good and varied selection of Asian clothing in here, and is the ideal visit if your shopping on Soho Rd. Everyone knows about this place and they have decent and reasonable prices. Over the years my family, especially my mother, have spent a small fortune in here buying Saree's and accessories that come in the most delightful of colours and fashions. It's nice how they've branched out to also include shawls, kitchenware, fashion accessories such as bindis, and items that you may need for religious worship. Overall a delightful store. Good prices, and they'll be surely missed if they were to ever leave.

Popular, and occasionally you will find a great sale on, they also have some nice outfits for men. Certainly take friends and family with you on your visit here. Whatever colours you prefer they sell. I like how they speak lots of languages, and it's more convenient for my mothers generation who knows that she trusts what they're saying about their garments when she can speak to them in her own language. I'd recommend visiting the store, car parking is available nearby, and the shop is served with bus routes regularly from the city and West Bromwich. Quite busy on the weekends though.

They will happily answer your questions and offer you advice. I did find some sherwanis had way too much embroidery but I guess there are Asians out there that like Indian suits with plenty of sequins/embroidery. If Mairs did lower their prices then maybe I would buy a sherwani from here. As well as Menswear, there are Asian Ladieswear on sale here as well.

There are also Mens sherwanis on sale so there is something for Men and they are not waiting for their partners to come out of the store. No offence women but you do spend way to long in shops. I know exactly how Men feel when it comes to waiting for women to finish in shops. I would come back here for sure and prices are not bad although there are one or two items that are expensive. A decent shop to go to in my view if you are looking for something to wear at a wedding.

The designs are quite exuberant and extreme for my taste, but if that is what you're into then it's worth a visit. They're far from reasonably priced with outfits at around £400, although this is about average in the local area. They stock a limited range of jewellery also. There is a pay and display car park next to the boutique, which has a corner location so it's hard to miss.

Harkirans is a store predominately targeted at brides and although there are some very nice saris here, I just found them to be way too expensive. It is a nice store don't get me wrong and the staff are brilliant but its price that puts me off from purchasing clothes from here. Unfortunately I don't think I will be coming back. Because it is a bridal wear store you would like to think jewellery would be sold. But here there isn't and you will need to go elsewhere to buy jewellery.

It's very spacious inside and the staff give you a lot of attention. They currently have 30% off Bridal wear in the summer sale, which will save you a small fortune on these outfits. I did find the items overpriced, for example a leading women's wedding suit fetches £2,200, and being on the popular Soho Rd, where there are millions of Asian shops, selling similar outfits, I know a bargain can be had elsewhere. A bit disappointing that they don't offer any jewellery for customers to accessorise their outfits with. They also have no website for you to shop online or recommend products to family before you buy. They do however offer a Bridal hair and Makeup service for an extra £250, ask for Naz. Although a nice store, a great fitting area towards the back, I would think twice before committing to a purchase in here, and shop around.

The shop isn't huge, and caters mostly to brides rather than bridesmaids - but does have a fair few accessories to ogle over, and the dresses are beautiful. The staff were really helpful, suggesting a couple of other places I might consider trying - and even suggesting alternatives that my friend might consider us wearing, whilst still sticking to our colour scheme. Although we didn't end up ordering anything with them (we ended up choosing prom dresses from M&S!) they were a big help in enabling us to figure out what on earth we were going to wear! Glad I popped in after getting my eyelashes done after all!

I'd never heard of the MiMi Boutique but as they were recognised as being a 'Bridal Couture Boutique' my friend wanted to give them a try. There was a good variety of dresses on offer which were not your classic wedding dress designs. We were mostly left to our own devices as we looked through the rails of dresses. There were so many to choose from, long, short, big, small.. we were a little bewildered yet the shop assistant didn't make much effort to talk to us which we thought was strange. As we weren't really getting the service we were expecting, we left pretty soon afterwards.

But the prices here are way over the top in my view and that's what has put me off from coming back here again. The bridal dresses and saris on offer at Mimi are fantastic and I love the various designs. But there were one or two saris that had too much embroidery for my liking. I guess it is not a surprise the bridal dresses on offer are expensive but I still found the prices to be outrageously high. There are other bridal shops on Soho Road and they sell cheaper/quality saris. You would be better off going elsewhere although you might want to still come here. There is no harm in having a look. But my view is that you might want to go somewhere else and find cheap but quality bridal dresses.
