THIEVES!!! This company overcharged us. We contacted the salesman, Brendan, several times. Each time he promised to have it credited back. Of course that never happened. We had to dispute the charge with our CC company; we only disputed the amount that was incorrect. Not the entire charge. This dishonest company refuted the dispute with paperwork that conveniently left off the amount THEY asked us to pay the plumber out of our pocket. They installed under sink kitchen water filtration system in November of 2025. Installer nicked a water line. It flooded our kitchen when we were gone. Told us they would fix it, and to get an estimate. I had to do cleanup myself. They passed me around from person to person for months! They finally admitted they were looking for installers insurance co. I got a letter, from one company, stating he wasn't insured. Then in MARCH I got an email from Leaf stating where he was actually insured. Their adjuster told me I did not have it properly dried out so he couldn't pay for my cupboards. He said he considered repairing, but I didn't have it dried out properly. He also said he couldn't give me the full amount to replace flooring because of State Law! Just wanted better water! Lying manipulative sales rep. Company doesn't care The sales rep. lied to my wife telling her we had Arsenic in our system. They don't even test for arsenic as demonstrated by the copy of the test I secured after the fact. I told him: "we are not buying today". After I left he shamed my wife into buying by using the Bible as a club. Then proceeded to put her in a 10 year contract at a ridiculous interest rate. The company fired him but will not acknowledge we are due compensation. I want the system gone and finance contract cancelled and interest plus principal repaid. I don't do business with liars. Horrible company to deal with. Customer Service wants a credit card before they ever even send someone out. That's shady practice. I have been trying to get the annual service done on my system for almost 2 months now. Every time they have a differnt excuse for either not making it out to their appointment or they plain can't fix an issue on the system. It's been unplugged for 2 months now and every time we call customer service they say it shows that our annual maintenance has been closed out as done. What the hell? You can never get a hold of a manager and they just plain don't care. DO NOT BUY A SYSTEM FROM THIS COMPANY! They will not only overcharge you for this system but when you need help , there isn't any available. I want to send the whole thing back! Absolutely terrible service and communication. System functioned for ~1 year when it completely quit softening and filtering our water (which simply has ~25 gpg hardness and 1.8 Ferrous (Iron) 0.1 Ferric (Iron). Service department has been out multiple times unsuccessfully making any progress in correcting the problem. Every time they change all the settings as if they were wrong for the first year, just grasping at straws. You cannot speak to any service supervisor or anyone above call center that simply, who will tell you they have 48 hours to call you back. When they don't call you back, the recourse is to call the call center to give them another 48 hours to call you back. Endless loop of no knowledge no professionalism. Regret ever dealing with Leaf Home Water Solutions. Bring back my Kinetico! My repair man was awesome, even he recommended I get a water softener system, he couldn't believe I was sold the system I have. He made a few phone calls but nobody has gotten back with me. I don't know what to do right now, I'm so frustrated. read more

We were under the impression that our water softener was doing the job, but we were still getting a "tinny" smell to the water when showering. Upon getting our water thoroughly tested, we learned that we were nearly 3X iron content compared to acceptable levels. So in fact, our current water softening system was doing little to help. Since having the system installed, the smell is gone and the water tastes much better (even from the tap, not from the RO system installed).Clothes look cleaner, much easier to clean the house as there is no longer scale on everything and no rust in the toilets.Money well spent! read more
