If your military I advise never signing their contract unless you have a lawyer look it over. Their contracts are equivalent to being signed as a prisoner. Never work with you and only argument is well thats not what you signed. You can forget about receiving your deposit back. They will take it all and not give a damn on justifying as to why that amount was charged from your deposit. When you move out they want the house in better condition than when you move in. If you pay by card online, the service violates state law. One star because there no other option. Christina Blount May....This woman is ruthless, don't thrust any words that came out of her mouth. I contacted her for a rental property, that her family owns, (she did not disclosed that), she trapped my clients/ family member into a deceived contract. Military family transferring from Arizona. Did not allowed peer soldiers to see the property, the home was a pig stall, prior to signing a contract. This home has no working toilets, inoperable doors nobs on bedrooms or bathrooms, moldy, humid, lose faucets, sink clogged, inoperable dishwasher, with strong smelly water inside. No windows screens. Mechanical, environmental, plumbing and electrical deficiencies. Bathroom light flicking on and off. The company advertised a property that was not livable, the photos were taken prior years ago . Finally read all the complaint this company have online, is a shame that this realtor's are so hallow with no integrity or respect to nobody else, for me Christine is a Diva, self centered nut case. Before you engage in any business transaction with this company, please read all the bad reviews they have online, they deceive people , specially military families. Its a real shame their way they conduct their business. They are for their pockets only, careless and rude. Their last name is MAY, but they may no know that karma is a bitch. Leading Edge Real Estate was the property management company of our last rental property. They have withheld our security deposit for minor wear of the property, as listed below. We are a military family that received orders to move 1,991 miles across the country. They had our orders and knowingly conducted a move out inspection after we had to leave the state. We had the home and the carpets professionally cleaned, spending more than $400 to ensure the home was in great condition. Christine, Felicia and Donna Anthony sent the move out report along with receipts to have the property cleaned again. The home was never abused or neglected and the items they stated need cleaned were well within normal use of the property. They stated things like smudges on the locks (which they charged us to replace), there was something left in a drawer and cabinet, and the oven and stove was not clean enough. It turns out, Donna Anthony listed her own daughter on the "receipt" for cleaning, which included withholding our deposit for 6 GALLONS OF WATER. So she withheld our deposit and gave it to her daughter. When we moved into the property, I worked hard to scrub burnt on food off the stove top and oven, I had to unclog all of the drains in the bathrooms because they were not draining, I had to clean the air filters and fridge vents. There was mold in the water line and filter of the fridge. The walls were damaged. We absolutely turned the property over in better condition than which we received it. We have never in our life had a security deposit withheld. What they are doing to families is criminal and a violation of tenant rights in the state of Georgia. I have a video of the house upon move out and I also have before and after photos of the work I had to do when I moved in. I also have the move out report and the fake receipts they used to withhold our deposit. I am more than happy to share these with others in order to protect you from ever having to deal with the same thing. We have just started the process to move forward with legal action to ensure that Leading Edge Real Estate will no longer take advantage of people like this again. We bought our house using Christine and Drew, and in the future I will definitely not be utilizing them to help me sell. They are only about their own bottom line. Once we settled on a house and signed all our closing paperwork, we never heard from Christine or Drew again - I only got to speak with their assistant. When we closed on our house, the old property owner was at the house and he had left copious amounts of garbage throughout the property. Unfortunately I had not noticed because he walked through the entire house with me and I did not even imagine that somebody would leave their bathroom drawers full of garbage. Our backyard was full of garbage. Once again, Christine or Drew were nowhere to be seen for the closing. Sorry but I just cannot fathom that realtors earn themselves thousands of dollars in commission for essentially opening a door with a key and showing you houses that you ve picked out yourself from online. This real estate company in particular was nothing but unpleasant to work with. Oh, and of course the closing was postponed too because nobody liked to communicate in a timely manner with me or the sellers realtor. Ridiculous. read more

Christina May Blount represented the buyers of our house. It was the worst experience ever. She failed to tell our realtor about when inspection was scheduled and I received a crap attitude when I informed the inspector he wasnt coming in MY house at that time. She requested SEVEN viewings of the house to said buyers before closing. They always stayed way longer then they should have. Closing day was a nightmare. They requested the cleaning crew return and commented on what we paid for said cleaning crew with, "You get what you pay for." We agreed to have it professionally cleaned not to a minimum amount for said cleaning. Buyers ripped all the floors so complaining about cleaning crew was unneccessary. I will never recommend Christina nor Leading Edge to ANYONE. They are thoughtless, disrespectful, and only in it for the money. This was obvious with my experience. read more

We are moving to Augusta from out of state. Found a property Christina had listed for rent online. Spoke to her multiple time about our need for a 6 month lease not a year and was reassured that, after talking to the "owners", a 6 month lease was doable. She really pushed for us to start the lease date a month before we would be moving. We said we could do 2 weeks before not a full month. When we walked through the property work was being done on it. She said work would be done in a week. That was 3 weeks ago and the work still isn't done and wouldn't be done by lease start date. When it came time to sign the lease it was for a year. She said she would be able to help us break the lease in 6 months and help us find a house to buy. The lease she wanted us to sign clearly stated that breaking it would be a $4000 penalty. Then called later to say the "owners" were standing firm on wanting a year lease. And when confronted with the fact that we knew she and her husband were the owners she denied it. Their method of doing business is, in my opinion, deceptive and little slimy. Now my husband and I have to start all over again searching for a property to rent which pushes our move back at least a month. Wish I had read the review by anonymous K before trying to do business with them. Thanks to Christina and her blatant lying and deceptive business practices we now have to scramble to find adequate housing that suits our needs. So frustrating! read more
