I was class of 1993 and wanted to pay my respects to Sharon Frink, who was my English teacher during my junior year at DPHS. I brought flowers for her and asked if they could take them to her memorial, which was located in the Karen Rugerio auditorium. Rest in peace, Ms. Frink.

My children started in 1st and 2nd grade. They are now in 3rd and 4th. They love this school. It has smaller size classes with a teacher and assistant in each class. Mr. Oliver, the principal, loves his kids and always treats the kids fair. He encourages them and acknowledges their achievements. The staff are great. The teachers help their class to achieve and excel. I can't picture my kids going to any other school. If you want your kids to feel like they belong, make friends easy and learn, definitely try UCP! Your kids will be glad you did! Sondra K. (Panther parent)

Bees. So many bees. On this delightfully cool day in our sunny state I was not only bombarded but I…read morewas harassed by hundreds, if not thousands of bees. Bees in my hair, my eyes, my body was traumatized by the sheer force of will they all carried in their small bodies. The lunch room is gourmet and the students get free lunch (what a scam for a former public school student such as myself!) The campus is shaped like a college campus and if I had not been with my two girls I would not have been able to find the north or south. However I did get a free pen.

Park lake called not too long after letting us know there was an opening. We were very hesitant to switch her schools. The one she was attending was good... but it's amazing what actually a big difference between good and great is. I am glad we made the switch. It was easy too. This school feels more like family...you feel comfortable. You won't feel uneasy asking any question if you need to. Or with anything. They check ids and who is on the actually pick up list if you need to have someone pick up. No one can just wander in the building. They also provide lunches here so she actually eats her lunch and enjoys eating what everyone else is eating (healthy!). She not comparing or not wanting her food if someone else has something different. During this pandemic, they put in place over the top procedures.. to make sure the kids that needed the care during this time were safe and it has been!! They pay attention to all the small things! Communication is excellent. I know what she learns every week, how she is doing, whats happening at the school, etc. The teachers and the staff are all wonderful. Our daughter loves it here. I would drive an extra distance to bring her here. I could go on about this place. It's worth the wait (or the transfer, like we did) if there is a waiting list!! Couldn't be happier.
