I gave it 4 stars, because I think their student record system should possibly include a copy of their student ID for clearer identification. I understand mistakes happen, however, through personal experience, it would help if staff (both permanent and temporary) had better accountability of students as far as who is who, especially when medical issues arise. The only other issue here is parking on even nights. It's not terrible, but sometimes, I wonder how the parents of over 1000 students are supposed to all fit their vehicles in that small little parking area? That is all... other than that, great school!

No matter if I have had to go in to pick my child up early or go in for a meeting with the counselors they have always been polite and easy to work with. The children are issued school laptops to do their work on which I think is great to get them ready for using computers in college and every day life. The school grounds are nice and well maintained. They have music classes Spanish classes drama classes art sports agriculture EVERYTHING ! they even have teachers that can teach in SIGN LANGUAGE ! the school is clean and organized and the teachers love the students and love God ! they always have fun engaging events that are educational for the students. the New Principal is an educated woman who has various degrees in psychology and she puts that knowledge towards helping these children. All the teachers are qualified individuals with teaching credentials and they are all Christians who serve God . As a result, I have made the decision to withdraw my daughter from Howard School and enroll her in another school. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of organization and professionalism demonstrated by the administration. Based on our experience, I would not choose this School again and would not recommend it to other parents. I not consider the Howard School like Magnet level, nothing good in this school

So it was my sophomore year at this school and this year was genuinely the WORST school year ever…read morefor me. Ima just say this now DO NOT COME HERE IF YOUR A PERSON OF COLOR. The students here are racist and the teachers not staff do anything about it. My first day at this school I was constantly getting racially harassed all day and when I went to talk to a dean about it they did nothing. Also the lack of diversity in all of the activities that they have here is honestly really sad. I went to both of the prep rally's they had here (they sucked) but it was honestly disheartening to see the lack of people my skin color not really in anything there were only a few students my color in some activities. The teachers aren't that great but not too bad or whatever. They actually care about the autistic and special ed at this school. I was also racially profiled by an autistic kid and told one of the teachers and excused it and saying "it's because of their autism". The school itself was VERY dirty and some of the utilities were broken and I've spotted multiple roaches dead and alive in the cafeterias it was nasty dude and the power cut off at the school and it was hot all day. Also there was recently a flood that happened and they were moving us all around the school it was kinda unorganized But they tried I guess..I was also touched inappropriately by another autistic kid, and once and again it was excused because of their autism. It truly is a wonderful school. The school and staff never fail to celebrate, support, and genuinely help the students. One of the best communities I've ever been around just in general. Chancery charter high school is absolutely amazing and I had an absolutely wonderful experience through and through. CAN'T EXPRESS HOW WONDERFUL THIS SCHOOL ACTUALLY IS!
