An interesting and award winning community business combining a Post Office, Teahouse and Gift Shop.
They serve light lunches and a wide range of cakes and pastries, served with a dizzying choice of teas and coffees. There's seating outside at the front and a side garden area, as well as inside. The staff are obliging and friendly.
The only downside is that it isn't cheap: although used to London prices, I was a little taken aback that 6 teas/coffees and two cakes came to £27. I guess you're paying for the overhead to keep the premises open. read more
