Three phone calls to both ATI and our insurance provider and we were told the authorization would be sent, but the EOB denials state denied because authorization was not sent before treatment started and never received since. They are also charging full amount, not the Medicare allowed amount, which nearly triples the bill.

If I ever exercise, I need to put on Biofreeze on my back to numb the pain. Then I went to Brian at Red Canyon who was referred by my neighbor because I was planning to get pregnant at 40 years old. I thought there was no way that I can carry a baby full term with a back in that condition. He diagnosed my long-term problem the first session and came up with a plan from the first session. No time/money wasted! He used dry needles and I could feel the pressure released from my back. That felt like 20 years of pressure released! He also gave me instructions to work on my core and back. With that original call I was immediately scheduled for at least a month, maybe two. When I arrive for my schedule appointments the front line staff checks me in quickly and notifies my therapist. Pretty soon after, my therapist comes to get me and we begin. Zach, is my therapist and I'm very grateful to have him. From the start, Zach was very personable. He makes me feel comfortable and always has a great plan of action. When I started at R2P I could barely drive my car and I definitely couldn't walk up stairs. Now, I can drive my car for hours at a time and I'm almost back to walking up stairs normally. Zach has a very good treatment plan for me. He makes me put in the work but I never over do it. At the beginning of the session I don't think I'm going to make it through but at the end I feel really good and I feel like I accomplished something. They provided a very high level of care for me during recent rotator cuff surgery. Each visit to their facility made me feel as if I was the only patient they were treating. Whoever treated me gave caring yet firm physical treatment and at the same time discussed how the treatment would make me better. Dr. Parsons and the staff handled my treatment in such a way that I could work with them to improve my condition without significant pain and fear. Stop telling people to do a set of 20 and then go treat someone else. I didn't come to this therapy to treat a shoulder injury. I came there to treat a distal bicep tendon post-surgery. This injury is around the elbow not shoulder. I spent most of my time doing shoulder lateral movements which I stated multiple times that I don't have issue with my shoulder. Let me offer some advice. Make sure you ask how long each appointment should last, and ask the physical therapist do they double book patients. Double booking equals less personal attention. Make sure they don't pass you off to an unlicensed professional such as an athletic trainer, physical therapy aide or rehab tech.
