Absolute perfection. Easily the best meal we ate in Sicily. We sat outside on a lovely sidewalk with interesting people watching. This French Sicilian fusion marries the local flavors of Sicily with the flair of French cuisine. Without exception we loved every dish and got wonderful recommendations from the wait staff to guide us. The tempura prawns (starter) with a bit of salad were amazing as was the pasta with fresh burrata and gespacho. The Sicilian beef with potatoes (like savory pot roast) also was life changing as was the chocolate "cake" (aka mousse tart)-so creamy and smooth. I would easily order any of the dishes again and highly recommend this spot located on the far end of Ortygia. The menu and wine list were presented in a hand-written form so I suspect they change things up from time to time. Pay inside after your meal. HIGHLY recommended

Pasta Nonna (mussels) with added Gamberi (shrimp)

The previous Yelp ratings brought us to this place. I had the pasta Nonnae + Gamberi. What a wonderful delight. The mussels were perfect and not chewy. The pasta was just the right texture. Our waitress help me prepare the dish with olive oil and pepper. The Gamberi (a local shrimp) was suggested to try. It was served crudo! Sweet and savory. My wife enjoyed her Branzino. Nicely grilled. Definitely a delightful meal. Since we sat on a table on the street, there was some motorcycle and car noise. Our visit was actually on 5/31/24.

This place is excellent. French Sicilian fusion with a touch of Asian. I started out with the tuna antipasto which was fried but rare on the inside dipped in a honey mustard. Had the fish main delicious too, but skip the tiramisu.

This was one of the best dinners I had in Sicily. Very delicious starters and the fish was fresh. Interesting French/Sicilian fusion. Some of the best flavors in the world. Highly recommended!! Do not miss out!!

Great food, great atmosphere, fun. Great location not far from the main square in Ortigia. I remembered it from 7 years ago and returned

We stopped looked around and decided to stay. So very glad we did. We were seated outside on the side street with a great view and the breeze at the cross street was delightful. We got our menus and just read and read. So many things to choose from. As we always(most of the time) share we decided on the Grilled Fresh Swordfish and the Busiata pasta with a Pistachio Cream sauce. When our food arrived we instantly knew they were both winners. The swordfish was perfectly cooked, tender, tasty with great seasonings....simple with the exception of the pink peppercorns which only enhanced the flavor. A simple, yet tasty side salad accompanied it on the plate to add color. And now for the winner- the Busiata Pasta cover in a beautiful pistachio cream sauce. And they didn't skimp on anything in the dish. It was huge. It was outstanding. We were full but kept going back for that last taste. We did our best but couldn't finish either. Service was great. Food came out within a reasonable amount of time and Everything was Hot! Lately I think food sits for a while at restaurants. Not this little gem. Love sitting outside watching people go by and just enjoying the food and the atmosphere.

What a let down. Dry swordfish. one shrimp, calamari had no flavor and the whole fish was full of bones. I had a wonderful swordfish steak in Naxos at the hotel which would blow the socks of this. Don't waste your money at this place. The prior reviews wouldn't know good seafood unless they lived by the water like I do. Oh this place was pretty empty for a Saturday night. Worst dinner I've had in a long time!

After we ordered, the place quickly filled up with locals, so we knew this was not a tourist trap. Between the two of us we had pasta with basil and tomato sauce which was absolutely fantastic with the right amount of Al dente chewiness and bright tomato flavor, the fired calamari, which was very lightly breaded so you couldn't even tell that is breaded and was hit with us and lastly the grilled and roasted seafood platter composed with two huge prawns, squid that was perfectly grilled to the point of being just tender enough to slice with a butter knife and a large slice of grilled swordfish. We washed it down with a bottle of still mineral water. It was the best food we have had in Sicily so far. The service was friendly & efficient. Altogether an awesome experience.

My dining companions ordered pasta dishes and they were all very happy. I was trying to adhere to a non carb diet ( big mistake) and ordered bisteca. They were very excited when I showed them yelp and that I was adding them. I would come back here and order a different dish! The wine was fantastic.
