Then a main dish of a local fish, John Dory. Very delicate and flavorful. Lovely sauce with more herbs and additional vegies and clams of different varieties. Chevre Cheese plate came in a crisp pastry wrap, warm and a perfect spread on toast that also accompanied it. It appeared that there was a date inside as well, and that added much too the flavors in this cheese dish The dessert was a hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. It is absolutely wonderful; never tasted a better one! I had a scoop of fresh mint and another of ginger - the taste was amazing: strong, very fresh/natural, well balanced. I would go back any time if only just to get myself some ice cream.

And when I say lukewarm, about 40c, for a dish (cod) that should have been served at 50-55c. On reporting the temperature issue out to the serving staff they seemed to pay attention, but returned with the same plate of food *reheated* a few minutes later. This had the effect of a scalding plate, which caused the sauce to separate. That the dish simply would not have been replaced entirely is astonishing, and inexcusable. Later the the server offered to prepare a new dish, but I opted to have it removed from the bill. It was not. The cheese was excellent though, and my daughter reported that the fries were good too. That's not hard though, is it?
