I wish I knew about this place during the winter!!! Of course I learn about this place right when the weather is getting better but today was a rain day so it was a perfect opportunity to check this spot out. The parking lot was full so people were parking on the street, no problem since it's not downtown or anything. When we walked in there was a waiver on an iPad to enter your personal info, the form was tedious and I noticed people just gave up as did I. Free for kids under 4!! Despite the full parking lot it was orderly inside and everyone was thankfully going in the same direction (counter clockwise) There are some small ramps along the track in the inner loop. My son got a boo boo and they had a box of free and aids. They also have another large room for advanced ramps for the bigger kiddos who are more adventurous. Tip: If you want to ride next to your child, bring some roller blades or a scooter so you can catch up with him but don't forget your helmet (mandatory for kids and adults) read more

This is THE MECCA indoor skateboarding in Montreal. Family friendly, scooters, BMX and skateboarders share the turf. Sometimes it's a full out war but that's what happens when you are learning traffic signals. The snack-bar could use some fresh veggies and fruits and lemon water for the gluten-free guests but them LAYS potato chips are always a good choice. You should try their slack-line, it can help develop your inner beast. The best inddor skatepark in Canada? Most likely. The condition is excellent, it's cared for, swept, maintained. The BIKES/BMX are very annoying, I don't like the mix of bike/skateboard (obviously skate only), they are clunky, big, painful if hit by one. Only thing worse than BMX is of course a SCOOTER; the worst of all/anything in a skatepark (fortunately inline is mostly rare these days; weird hipsterish creepy guys). I love the 2 levels; minis upstairs/bowls. Excellent street section on main floor and a DIY outside type park. read more

Great indoor skate, BMX, anything on wheels park. The facility is huge with two floors. Pro shop, rental services and more. Took my kids and explored - we used inline skates and skateboards and used the rollerdome. There are beginner areas and expert area to try things out so anyone at just about any age can try which is great. read more

My son has been asking me for quite awhile now to do skateboard. I thought that this would be the best place to give this sport a shot! We took a father & son lesson with Fred and enjoyed it very much. Fred is an amazing teacher, doesn't look at her watch, and gave us a great experience. She even accepted my son request to see her skate in the concrete bowls at the end of the lesson. The Taz is a very nice and clean place, and safety really seems to be a priority with this place. We went on a Wednesday night, but the place was packed. I also want to mentioned that there are different sections depending on your level of expertise, and that makes it fun for people from all the different levels! read more

I can't give you a perspective on how this place is for skate boards and what have you; although, I can inform you about the derby related side of things. The facilities are nice and clean...well at least not those open to the public. The public ones are about what you would expect from a bunch of teenagers using them. Its a nice bonus for a place to have clean bathrooms, and a bit surprising when there are used by a large crowd of teens. I would recommend this place for those that are looking for somewhere to skate during the Montreal winters. As a bonus side note, the roller derby early season games are held here! I was fortunate enough to pay a visit during the MTL Roller Derby and WOW was I impressed! When I say they have everything you need, I'm referring to a pro-shop, gear rentals, a repair/tool station, super comfortable seating/social areas, HUGE skateparks both indoors and outdoors, classes for people of all ages, a snack bar that even has microwaves to bring your own foods and an environment that I would feel entirely secure as a parent to offload my kids for the day and know that they were in great care.Theres even a 2nd floor viewing deck for parents to meet up and/or the youngest siblings to be safe out of the way and still have an amazing view of the action below. read more

This place is an excellent indoor skateboard,roller blade scooter and bike facility. Pro-shop, canteen, viewing deck, rentals etc. Huge facility great for all ages and abilities. Awesome indoor park with a really nice transition area upstairs and a foam pit. I decided to take my board with me to montreal specifically because of this park. Honestly, the foam pit alone is worth it for the entry fee, but the staff there (at both the pro shop and the skatepark) are amazing and super helpful. I had actually forgotten my US driver's license there and the staff went completely out of their way to find it and send it back over to me in the states--I don't usually do yelp reviews, but this act alone really got me stoked to share how great the folks are over there. read more
