It should be noted that we're surrounded by great (not good/OK) Indian restaurants where we live. I…read morecould literally call five other places on the one night of the week our favorite is closed and get something close, if not just as good.
Note to the chef: Chicken tikka masala is cooked in a tandoori, then served with rice and a flavorful tomato-based gravy. The gravy is watery or thin and the chicken isn't rubbery. Also, Indian chefs use LOTS of spice in their food, whether just to add flavor or to heat it up a bit, in order to serve a dish that's worthy of four stars. Yours has none of these qualities. The samosas were edible, but it really appeared that everything we ordered had been frozen and reheated at some point. Even the naan was rubbery and charred.
We're terribly disappointed with our order. The portion size, for what we were charged, was small and unworthy of a restaurant offering.
Maybe this is our fault. I mean, I've only seen a handful of Indians since we arrived...
